More seriously - yes it would protect against cold. In a few rooms in the temple of EE they say that it deals cold damage unless protected by an endure cold spell, or winter gear.

Well, the PC's are supposed to win so sometimes I don't have a problem with items like that. I've noticed some people don't like items that make the battle unpredictable. I've never had a problem, most NPC's can avoid it and if it's a problem I'll fudge the roll so he's just entangled...

But their lack of detail makes them perfectly customizable in any world. I play in Kalamar, but I run the WotC adventures. So far everything that's developed has been able to be inserted with minor changes in those modules. RttToEE was okay, but too long of a dungeon crawl in one location...

No, Slow dispels and counters slow. So if you cast slow on an area anyone in there hasted loses haste and is normal with no save. Anyone not hasted can make a save against the slow.

Area affect spells may not dispel the images but they'll sure as hell get the caster too. Every time the PC's are encountered with a mirror-image mage they just light off a fireball, lightning bolt, flame strike, etc and eventually they get it. If you cast glitterdust are the mirror images...

I allow PC's and NPC to move around minor obstacles while charging, but I don't call it a 5ft step. It should still provoke an AO when they do it if they're leaving a square, and "5ft steps" the game term doesn't provoke movement AO's.
