It is tempting. The amount of feats available are simply staggering - from the Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting to the various FFG Path of The Sword / Magic / Faith / Etc to Montes various releases. If I could come up with a more clever way to disperse appropriate feats I would.

:whoops: I forgot about that one too. I actually checked up on it recently and it looked like the slew of releases it had had slowed up a bit. I was wondering if it was because some of the authors / contributors took a stab at the PDF market?

I think the most expensive one I remember was the special leather-bound edition of Ravenloft.

I've read topics like this before, but don't remember the specifics :( With so many options for feats - metamagic, crafting, combat trees, tactical - what would be the repercussions of increasing the number of feats given? Instead of, perhaps, 1/3 levels, it was 1/2 levels. A PC would get 10...

Interesting. I never even considered the idea of character trees before (other then Dark Suns required multiple lives feature during 2nd Edition). It's as if I can squeeze more varied adventure out of the same players.

I wonder, is reading level often on par with writing ability?

The Dragon 315 Defiling was based on allowing your spells to be metamagicked for 'free' in exchange for defiler points. Your cap for max defiler points was half your current caster level, so some options may not be available (a maximixed spell is 4 points, so it wouldn't be open until at least...
