Anyone else think dragons are too powerful?

Have a look at the bronze dragon

    Wisdom to AC ... twice?

Allowing both would be sick so I wouldn't even do it if it were by the rules ;)

How would you like this as a player...

Usually bodyguards use the occuring AoO for a CdG for disarms. I'd rather use a full attack action with full sneak attack damage on the helpless person.

    Greatest Moment While DMing

The party was scrying one of the BBEGs... (I usually have more than one in my campaign and enjoy their interaction). The BBEG was meeting another BBEG (both with small parts of their armies) for a truce or even an alliance. The meeting is interrupted by a knight in black armor whose attack...

    PsyWar Polearm Build

Most psionic builds with polearms use StandStill. Get a dwarf. And use Expansion ;)

What would be better for this build?

Where was Snowflake Wardance from again and what does it do?

What would be better for this build?

Another vote for Pal4/BardX and no fighter levels. TWF builds are ok with feats like Two Weapon Pounce or Dual Strike that allow to use several weapons with standard actions, but you don't have many feats to spend. If you ask me, get a bow and a polearm. The Devoted Performer archer with a Bow...

    Mastery of Swordsmanship

I'd vote for warblade, heading for Melee Weapon Mastery and Weapon Supremacy ;)

Help my kids make great PCs

With kids? I act. Mimic, gestures. Then everyone at the table screams "HE'S A LIAR!" and grab their padded swords and charge me

A PC died in my campaign on Saturday

mhensley and Tewligan: Yeah, somehow you're both right. Still, for me the players action made sense... in a heroic way. Certainly the DM might have done something else... But I don't like pulling the punches. Either I use CdG in that situation or I houserule it at the beginning of a campaign...

    Help with Crusader/Bard or Warblade/Bard

If you build a warblade3/bard9 or something similar, it's worth it. You simply add some maneuvers and hitpoints to a bard who doesn't lose that much. Optimize your Inspire Courage stuff, get Song of the White raven and take the warblade levels (except perhaps for the first one at level 1 for...

A PC died in my campaign on Saturday

Bad luck. I wouldn't like that PC death either, but there's not much you can do in such a situation. Still, I do like my players to try foolish heroic things. And sometimes they survive against ridiculous odds (like in the story in my sig) and that's something they still talk about years...

Ariael Duama: Female roguish high elf Rogue/Swashbuckler/Escrimeur [please critique]

Well, I have a similar char in my group with TWF... that hurts. My poor monsters.

    Feats for level 1 Duskblade

Bad feat later... e.g. very bad for feat starved classes.

    Good defensive items

There are a few nice spells in the Spellcompendium like Stormrage (though I think that's a druid thing) that allow you to fly and make you immune to most ranged weapons...

    Monks and AC

Don't forget the Comp Warrior feat that allows two Stunning fist attempts per round. Combine with DC raising feats (Ability focus, Ascetic Rogue) and a Wis monk... and you'll do fine.

    Power Critical: Broken?

Hmm. IMX it's not too bad... a puny +4 to confirm threats? The crit specialists are usually that good at hitting that a +4 to the confirmation roll doesn't really matter.

Help my kids make great PCs

Wow. One of these days when I disagree with the penguin. Shame on me ;) When I play with kids, I let them PLAY. Dicerolls aren't necessary outside of combat as long as they get along and usually they do. The fighterkids usually play the "knight hero in shining plate" and act like a hero. No...
