    I think I'm going crazy . . .

I dislike them too. I have never been there though. http://yro.slashdot.org/yro/05/04/28/1351224.shtml?tid=123&tid=187 That's the same law Lexmark used to outlaw printer cartridges not made by them! Anyhow, carry on! :D

I want to do a web site for my campaign, but I have questions...

If you have broadband you can host the website from your own computer, the only thing you need is webserver software such as apache. If you don't like the idea of the website going down when you turn of your computer you should probably not do this though.

How Good Is This Combination (For Games)?

Well, the processor is nice, the memory is nice, but the video card sucks (relatively speaking, of course). You'd be better of with a slower processor and use the money you save and buy a better, current generation video card.

PCI Express: What do you think?

drothgery has good points as usual. I wouldn't worry too much about interfaces. Serial ATA is older than PCI Express and IDE is still the most common interface for harddrives. It will probably take a while before AGP is replaced completely. And the performance difference between an AGP and PCI...

    Diet?

Whatever you do and however you do it, don't do it alone. It'll be easier that way. That, and walk alot. Preferably before breakfast. If you notice you breath with your mouth and not your nose, you walk to fast, slow down. Then your body will burn fast like crazy, and you will probably feel much...

Survey: We haven't totally abandoned CDs

Hmm. Windows Media Player doesn't support MP3's natively? Anyhow, if you can run files but not install (as in modify the registry and such) you can try 1by1, a 50 kb MP3-player that doesn't require installation: http://www.mpesch3.de/

People actually use WMA for music voluntarily? Anyhow, I have all my CD:s backed up as FLAC, use 192 kbps cbr MP3:s for regular listening and reencode them to 96 for my digital audio player.

    Instant Messenger Clients

I think (but I don't know) something general purpose will do the job better than a specific, niche client. You could use IRC and a dice rolling bot for textual messages, teamspeak or skype for voice, and a small webserver (webserver software that is) to host the maps.
