Adepts were only made divine for game mechanic reasons. If you read the descriptive text it states that they are a mixture of divine and arcane spellcasters and their spell list reflects this. No reason to be limited by that. They fill the Hedge Wizard niche far better than sorcerers IMO. -Zarrock
