I want an invading army from beyond this dimension. Tell me about it.

Nazis. Nazis make gaming fun. Hitler's fascination with the occult leads the Third Reich to technology that breaches the barrier between worlds and he seeks all the magic items he can lay hands on.

I've made up my mind...for now.

Nothing I've seen has struck any interest for me. The new races don't impress me, the new rules I've seen don't impress me, the new classes don't impress me. That's NOT to say the finished project won't be good or even great, but going on the info that's been offered, I think I can safely say...

What's happened to your scrapped projects?

Sadly, no. I keep all my notes the old fashioned way, and when that campaign ended I tossed it away.

What's happened to your scrapped projects?

Gone and never to be resurrected. It was my first 3.0 campaign, and in my zeal to create a unique campaign setting, the whole thing came unraveled and my players, as well as myself, lost interest in it. Only one of my group has any interest in it, and he brings it up every now and then, but...

    Will you buy 4th edition?

My group has already decided against switching to 4e. Not because of edition hate or anything, but we've invested a LOT of money in the 3.5 rulebooks and feel that edition is fine for our gaming needs. I'll probably buy the 3 core books just to have them and to see what I can retrofit to 3.5...

    So, I can't log in

How do I migrate the accounts? Aside, I thought they were going to put out a digital issue of Dragon. I've seen articles, but is there a complete .pdf to download?

    So, I can't log in

....and I can't find where to join the community. Of course, I'm whacked on Vicodin right now, which may explain some of it. But WotC has my old login info, why didn't that just track over to the new Gleemax stuff? I'm rambling.... any pointers are appreciated.

    Ghost Hunters Live

Was anyone able to sit through all 6 hours of the Halloween episode? I wasn't. It was a big letdown, at least it was in the 2 hours I watched. I decided that if the show had been a D&D adventure, it would've been called "Vault of the Drowsy". Did anything exciting ever happen?

    Metalheads! Confess & Brag

In August I got to see Alice Cooper. I took my (then) 13 year old son with me. It was his first metal show, and Uncle Alice has a new fan!

    Converting prehistoric animals

4 sounds good. Both dogs and bears are pretty tough and can take a lot of punishment. There was a story on the local news tonight about a chocolate lab found wandering around with a bullet lodged in her lower jaw.

    Converting prehistoric animals

I think I'd lower the STR to 14 and increase the WIS to 14. The Miocene Epoch saw a rapid and diverse evolution of mammals, so it's likely there'd have been a lot of competition for food. Being slightly smaller than some of the other apex predators of the time, I think Daphaenodon would've...

    Converting prehistoric animals

Ehhh..don't stress it. Daphaenodonts were wolf to coyote sized with long, almost weasel like bodies, dog like heads, and tails nearly as long as their bodies. You can see a pic here: http://www.visitscottsbluff.com/images/bdogscan1.jpg
