OOC: I'm pretty sure you should be able to see through your own illusions. Ethian opens the door. The banging noises are clearer now - sounds pretty much like somebody trying to batter down a door (a noise all adventurers are familiar with). "Open up ya little ****," you hear a man say...

With Blackpearl and Mistral providing cover, Ethian approaches the doors and listens. The doors must be quite substantial as the sounds are muffled, but it sounds like someone or something hitting something large and wooden. There are indistinct male voices as well, at least two.

Mistral sends his glowing pebble through the ajar doors to get a better view of the room beyond. It has a marble floor inlaid with a strange design, plain but smooth walls and a high ceiling at the edge of the light's range. The double doors to either side are unremarkable, both are closed. The...

Rurik recognises the drink in the flask as a kind of liquor made from sea urchins, a local speciality, and quite potent, if you can get past the slightly fishy smell.

I think if you want to include dice rolls you may as well use this thread, save creating another one. I don't mind which roller anyone prefers to use - I'm happy to do the rolling for you if you like. I mean, I've made a few surreptitious Perception checks already...

The sunken barge looks like an old Sandlander funeral barge, perhaps the last one ever to arrive. It looks to Zanword as if it's just sunk due to gradually succumbing to age. OOC: The Sea Glimmer is quite small, but you could have a tiny one-man tender trailing alon with it if you wish.

Rurik has, indeed, managed to find something alcoholic. At least, the liquid in the flask smells like strong liquor of some kind, with a slightly fishy overtone. The gourd contains what appears to be fine white sand. Javier looks through the gap in the "water portal". By the light of Mistral's...

Dr. Si's Curse of the Crimson Throne - Escape From Old Korvosa

These are the four configurations. The rectangular corridor in 3 and 4 is the same, the one with the tiger heads. The angular corridor in 1 and 2 is the same, the one with the disturbing murals, but it flips ends between the two. In configuration 1 you haven't been past the door beyond the...

Rurik cracks open the lid of the chest. It isn't locked, and despite an unknown amount of time underwater it still opens, albeit stiffly. The contents are still dry. inside, there is an ornate golden goblet, a plain silver armband, a small stoppered flask and a blue gourd, also stoppered.

[roll0] 1d13 (Answer= no, looks like you need to use dice that exist. But that's hardly an issue :))

[roll0] Okay, on the subject of dice rollers, I didn't know that there was one on these boards again. Format is: [roll=Name of Roll]1d20+6 (or whatever dice+mods you want) [/roll ] If you try to edit that post you can't edit the dice roll. Seems pretty straightforward. Also you can't add...

Master of Jade, Mistress of Iron - a World of Conclave adventure

Ying sends two of his crew aloft to try to get the sail back under control. Eventually they do, but Tara-Ki places a hand on the mast and shakes his head. "We need to make repairs," says Ying. The storm is beginning to abate somewhat, possibly now that the spirits have been repelled. The...

The chest isn't deep down, and Zanword barely needs to swim at all to retrieve it. It's quite small, but reasonably heavy, looks like it's made from bronze. It is clasped shut but looks like it is still intact. Javier studies the ceiling, whether because he is actually interested in it, or...

Dr. Si's Curse of the Crimson Throne - Escape From Old Korvosa

The next pull of the lever reveals a small circular room with a pool in the centre. Edmond labels it, a short wait, pull the lever again. As before, somewhere a bell rings, machinery grinds, the room shakes. This time the pool room is replaced with a room with another lever - it looks like the...

OOC: Well, if it works on both accounts! To answer other enquiries, I don't know of another dice roller site that allows you to "prove" your scores. Hopefully one will crop up to fill the void. Were there ever any plans to resurrect the one that used to be on this site?
