The inability to channel positive/negative energy I believe is ok, as it better allows the two classes (FS and Clerics) to exist in the same campaign. If characters with turning ability are needed I think a feat that allows the FS to burn a spell slot to turn/rebuke undead would be appropriate...

I have an empathetic healing core class listed here: http://www.enworld.org/showthread.php?t=107809 No divine magic needed, abilities can be psionic in nature, sort of like the soul knife as this is a psionic core class that doesn't manifest normal powers.

Somehow I find the ones I create seem to fill my needs quite well. ;)

Just curious to see how many people use classes from the house rules forum. I enjoy reading them, however most of the time they appear to be too campaign specific for my tastes. However that has not stopped me from posting a couple of my own.

One god is suitable, if there are enough interpretatons and cults for conflict. Real Life would seem to indicate there would be.

I like when they are logical variations of the class in question. Unorthodox Druids I thought was pretty good, I particulary liked the idea of the tree warden. I feel that some of the classes are too specific and seem more like PrCs than core classes.

The Shugenja in Complete Divine is pretty close to what you describe.

Balancing it against a minotaur or half ogre would give you a good start of what this type of strength would do to an LA.
