    Encumbrance in "Stone"

I say we do encumberance like wealth in the d20 Modern system. :) Everytime you pick something up, you have to make your encumberance check. Darn, it... I want that +1 sword, but my hands sure are full. Seriously, though. If I, as a DM, catch some player adding up the weights of his...

Should there just be one sort of elf?

If 4e doesn't have sandwich elves, then I won't buy it! You can take the sandwich out of my elves, but you can't take the elves out of my sandwich.

    Picked Up Some Wizard Powers

No, I think it means that he kludged his character together my choosing to have some wizard class-abilities (which the DM allowed). I really hate this playtest example.

Will I still love my girlfriend in 4th Edition?

I've heard that you can't convert girlfriends between 3.5e and 4e. It was just too much work.

    D&D 4E Dungeon Delve format in 4e?

The Delve format does start to make more sense when things like Action Zones and environmental hazards are added. I'd still want encounters to be shortened to fit within a single column wherever possible.

Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder #1: I have it. Spoilers.

I heard Paizo doesn't ship 3.5e material to Wisconsin anymore. There's too many OD&D grognards ambushing the postal workers.

    D&D 4E Dungeon Delve format in 4e?

The Delve format sucks. It's only used because stat blocks in 3e are so friggen huge that they mess up the flow of the adventure. The Delve format manages to make stat blocks suck up even MORE space than they used to. I enjoy having some plot or rooms in my dungeons, thanks.

New "which 8 classes are in PHB" speculation thread

We *know*: Cleric Fighter Rogue Wizard We can assume: Sorcerer (there are plenty of quotes about how a wizard and sorcerer are going to differ) Druid (there's a quote about how a druid will be as effective a healer as a cleric) Less certain: I personally don't believe there's enough evidence...

Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder #1: I have it. Spoilers.

Well, the fluffiness is clearly appropriate for now. And as long as the fluff is kept relevant, I don't think anyone is going to complain. The only material which even started to approach that in PF #1 was the Journal... But it's clear that you're laying some groundwork there for the future...

Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder #1: I have it. Spoilers.

Fluff is probably necessary at this point in the game. They're really creating this world from nothing. It's necessary to anchor people a little bit. However, if the level of fluff keeps up, it may get rather annoying.

    secret doors on WotC site

It looks like a "Secret Door" S on a map. But it's barely visible in the artwork grid on the left-hand side of the old pages. When you mouseover it, it turns solid. It's right below the broadcast tower symbol. Sometimes it's there. Sometimes it isn't.

Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder #1: I have it. Spoilers.

Yeah, it's definitely supplemental only. I personally wasn't all that interested in that section. Though it sets up some world details.

    WOOT!!! It's on it's way.

It takes a minute or so to apply the watermark. When I did it, it basically said... Please wait and come back in a minute or so.

    WOOT!!! It's on it's way.

I missed this thread when I posted my review thread. I'll post what I posted there here as well... Or at least I have the electronic download (for now). Anyone want to know anything about it? There will almost certainly be spoilers in this thread. If you plan on playing this adventure as a...

    WOOT!!! It's on it's way.

You have to hit the personalize download link first. That'll apply a watermark to the file so you can't just go spreading it all over the Internet.

    secret doors on WotC site

There's also a very slight "S" on the old Wizards pages left image bar that seems to just take you to a random page.

Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder #1: I have it. Spoilers.

Or at least I have the electronic download (for now). Anyone want to know anything about it? There will almost certainly be spoilers in this thread. If you plan on playing this adventure as a character DO NOT READ THIS THREAD. I've read about 2/3s of it... and my impression is pretty...

D&D 4E 4E: What we think we know

You know, if WotC actually did this, it would be such a sign of good faith to the community that I would probably sign up and pay without a thought. But getting a company who has DRM on a product to let users SHARE that product? Good luck. If it were an application like iTunes, it might let...

D&D 4E Directly from a quote- 8 classes in 4e! (well, now subject to much debate)

Well, we know that mage and sorceror both still exist... I would assume they are both still core. Although I have to admit, it would be awesome if the first level was a racial level and you picked your class at level 2. Too bad that'll never happen. :-)

D&D 4E 4E: What we think we know

A book per player is ridiculous. Even a FEE per player is pretty hard to swallow. I understand the idea that if I don't use the online tools, why should others have to subsidize it? But, supposing my party wants to use these online tools and everyone wants to use a laptop at the table for...
