Wrath and Glory Warhammer 40K missing from Ulisses US

And I still see no reason to not get better. Try to sell D&D 4th edition nowadays and let's see how well it'll perform. Excluding players who want to play Xenos because the majority plays Imperium is not even a reason, actually. You should try to include more, not less.

What's Happened To Warhammer 40K Wrath and Glory?

A heavily convoluted system, already out of production by some years, that supported only a playstyle and excluded the majority of the playable archetypes and races from the background. Not mentioning that it was a system created by another company (Black Industries) and implemented by a second...

WotC Considering NPC Stat Format Change

Meh. Adventures make for really bad reads. If I want to enjoy the background of an RPG, adventures are the last place I head to. Adventure modules should be meant as a way to give DMs an easier time. Nothing less, nothing more. Interpretation guidelines shouldn't have places in stat-blocks...

WotC Considering NPC Stat Format Change

Wasn't the natural language thing already a big enough problem of 5th edition? Do we really need to exacerbate one of the few really problematic aspects of this edition by adding to the complexity of reading and fast reference of the RULES part of the game?

That is, just, like your opinion, right?

It's that time of year again! Nominate Your Most Anticipated Games of 2019

My most anticipated has been already nominated at least once, so I'll just add that, as per the rule of this thread, Trinity Continuum: Aeon is not a valid nomination, while Trinity Continuum: Core is valid.

News Digest: Paizo Website Issues, Legend of the Five Rings Preview, Judge Dredd RPG Update, Steve J

Legend of the Five Rings RPG isn't based on the Cypher System at all. You could say that it's based on the Genesys System and that would be certainly nearer to the truth, even if the correct definition is that it's a system blending the narrative mechanics of the Genesys System with the old Roll...

Resonance, Potency, & Potions: A Look At Magic Items in Pathfinder 2

I guess that that could help with his (i.e. Shasarak's) trolling. Because there's no other explanation for his behaviour, at this point.

Resonance, Potency, & Potions: A Look At Magic Items in Pathfinder 2

No. You just need to accept that Charisma has never been Good Looks. You don't like that Resonance works on Charisma? Fine, but don't pretend that you're right on things about which you're obviously wrong, please.

Resonance, Potency, & Potions: A Look At Magic Items in Pathfinder 2

Murnau world like to have a talk with you. Sorry, but... How many examples you need to discard, before convincing yourself that Charisma is not the same as Commliness? Plenty of horrible monsters have exceptional Charisma in PF1. Charisma is force of personality, artistic expression...

Yeah. Vampire the Gathering. The game where emo, goth, power- hungry Cainetes battle between them using a collectible card game.

Pathfinder 2 Character Sheet #2: Kyra, Human Cleric

The sling has the Propulsive trait. If you look at the end of the second page, it's explained what it does: "Add half your Strength bonus to damage rolls". Kyra's got Strength 14, so bonus +2, halved for the Propulsive trait/tag.

Pathfinder 2 Character Sheet #1: Fumbus, Goblin Alchemist

Here's the description, taken directly from Paizo's website: "Pathfinder Hopeful (Background) You've long wanted to join the adventurous Pathfinder Society, a world-spanning organization of relic hunters. This aspiration has led you to take up the dangerous life of an adventurer eager to make a...

Pathfinder 2 Character Sheet #1: Fumbus, Goblin Alchemist

As much as PF remains the crunchy D&D, I must say the functional and clean tag terminology goes a long way to address the mechanical weight of the system. Much, much better than the "natural language" approach of D&D 5 (which is a lighter ruleset, so it can certainly go with a less "gamist"...

THIS Is The Pathfinder Playtest Rulebook!

True. Even whiners can be happy whining for the wrong reason. Criticise the rules as much as you want, but there's nothing wrong in Paizo both offerings people a lot of different choices (one of them totally free! Shock!) and making some money with it.
