Well, I'm giving out 100 xp per page of character background. Unfortunately, no one out of around 12 people have taken me up on it, but that's just my players. Actually, one guy typed up the entire Ranger class description, I think I gave him 25 xp for just typing.

I would just like to note that you can give these guys exceptional stats. Just giving them the standard array will increase their combat power significantly. I always use better stats for anything over 1st level, or not a mook monster.

Do I need a Standard, ME, or Free action to turn off command items? What about Boots of Speed and similar, can I use the action gained from the item to turn it off? Thanks

Also, at low levels Sorcerers are far more powerful. When you can cast 5 and know 2 first level spells compared to knowing several and only casting 2, you gain a massive measure of power. Sorcerers continued firepower makes them far better in any sort of situation where they can't rest often.
