There's plenty of things left to explore with D&D as is evident with product schedule. PHB III will be likely in a year or so based on how ideas progress at WotC. If in another year or so the ideas dry out and/or people stop buying them, then you'll see the advent of 4E.

The is the best news I've heard since WotC announced they got the Star Wars lisence! Bring on Dark Matter! It was the only successful Alternity campaign I ran. It was a blast!

That's patently false. Just because I don't agree with something 100% doesn't mean that I don't understand it. That's the kind of attitude that turned me off to the Forge is the first place.
