    D&D and the rising pandemic

Just look at Amazon warehouses. Vastly more automated than 10 years ago. My friend literally had a rover type robot deliver his order a couple months ago. He walked up to it, used his phone to unlock the box, took his order out and the robot rolled off to do its next task. It was a cool video...

D&D 5E (2014) With the release of each new setting book, the SCAG looks worse and worse...

The worst thing WoTC could do is print a 50 dollar book that contains things we already have. Want to know what happened places after the Sundering(or whatever cataclysm)? The answer is: Whatever you think.

Movies to watch while corona chan prowls the streets

I was surprised by how much I liked Onward. It’s Pixar though so maybe I should have expected to like it.

    Mostly whilst pooping.

    VTTs Feel the Strain

There is a combat/initiative tracker that tracks who’s turn it is. If you select the token and have it roll Initiative it should throw up a tracker. You can’t manipulate things like Hps or abilities through the tracker I don’t think.

    Anyone else watching BLACK SUMMER?

I was surprised by how much I liked it. Pretty good. Very tense.

    VTTs Feel the Strain

I’m not sure what you mean by “integrate player stats into an encounter”. Do you mean... judge the difficulty of an encounter using the player character sheets? But anyways, I found value in the adventures but since I have hard copies of the core books I don’t feel like I need them on Roll20...

    D&D and the rising pandemic

It’s because we didn’t funk about when this started. Step by step we(in L.A. anyways) progressively ‘locked down’. Outliers aside... no one here is really flouting the guidelines.

    VTTs Feel the Strain

So I have a subscription. Have NOT purchased a digital core book. I’m not sure they’re really necessary and I tend not to reference the rule books during play. I HAVE purchased an adventure or two (Ran Curse of Strahd most recently). That was a solid purchase in my opinion. It was nice to have...

    VTTs Feel the Strain

I’ve had a few issues but nothing that interrupted game time.

D&D 5E (2014) Running High Level 5E is more fun than I thought it would be.

I found out that when I design high level adventures a question often pops up in my head. I think to myself.. “Is this scene... TOO metal?” And then I think... “Add more metal.” Seems to work out well.

D&D 5E (2014) Running High Level 5E is more fun than I thought it would be.

Our finale of Rise of Tiamat was amazing. They rode to battle in the giant crewed Flying Fortress while the combined forces of the realms engaged the cult armies at the Well of Dragons. First they fought off a large boarding action. Then supported the Flaming Fist from above before they were...

An adventure from the Explorers Guide to Woldemount was on Roll20. Not sure if that counts.

    D&D 5E (2014) Agro and Target choices

I try to play the monsters as NPCs that have goals and motives. As such different creatures will behave differently. I suppose for example, The hobgoblins move up as one and methodically engage their enemies. They may not focus fire (or they might if given orders)and might leave an...

D&D General Movie plots for your D&D game

Jaws. A simple one really. Maybe more or a side quest that one could easily blow up into a larger adventure but... While traveling the heroes see up ahead, in a haze of mist/fog/dust... wagons/caravan that’s wrecked and there’s someone on top of one of the caravans. The person that is waving...
