    D&D 5E (2024) One D&D Cleric & Revised Species Playtest Includes Goliath

Long rest restores all Hit Dice. Is that new?

    Rolemaster Unified Releasing December 3rd

BTW, if anyone has questions about the new system, I will do my best to answer them. (I'm not affiliated with ICE, but I have been playing the beta for a long time and have a good grip on the rules).

    Rolemaster Unified Releasing December 3rd

You mean your kids are too young to have their arms cut off by 99 on an E Slash crit? Soft. 😜 I should also note that a new module is coming out (not sure if it will be on 3rd December, but should be shortly after if not) for the Electronic Roleplaying Assistant, which is ICE's tool for things...

Worlds of Design: How Big is Your Army?

Good article. One last point I would make is that the smaller the battle, the more easily the PCs can influence it, so there are not just historical but also gameplay reasons to try to keep the numbers smaller/more realistic. If you want to get crunchy -- and I mean really crunchy -- the old...

D&D 5E (2024) One D&D Expert Classes Playtest Document Is Live

This is what I'm coming to realize. It isn't a new edition despite the new name; Wizards seems to want to have its cake and eat it too. And they are deathly afraid of making any substantive changes lest they kill the golden goose. Just my 2 cents of course.

    D&D 5E (2024) Wizards Presents Live Coverage

I'm sure this was known before, but to confirm: no new edition of D&D, just some tweaks and additional books in 2024.

    D&D Movie/TV Here's The D&D Movie Trailer!

Have to say, it looks far better than I expected.

D&D 5E (2014) New Unearthed Arcana: Heroes of Krynn Revisited

Fair point, but so were dwarves and many other creatures, yet I don't see many people wanting to make them Fey. One could make most of the monsters in MM Fey if one really wanted too... but I don't understand why one would.

D&D 5E (2014) New Unearthed Arcana: Heroes of Krynn Revisited

I haven't been following DnD as much lately, but what is up with the push to make everything Fey?

D&D 5E (2014) The Next D&D Book is JOURNEYS THROUGH THE RADIANT CITADEL

Wish it had been Sigil instead, but I like the multiverse angle.

D&D 5E (2014) Mordenkainen Presents Monsters of the Multiverse: An In-Depth Review

Healing surges -- oops, I mean 'Hit Dice' -- being a prime example.

D&D 5E (2014) A Compilation of all the Race Changes in Monsters of the Multiverse

'Intrigued' would not be the word I would choose. 'Confused', perhaps... 'disappointed', maybe... worse, probably. Note I'm not One True Waying you; if you like it, all power too you.

D&D 5E (2014) A Compilation of all the Race Changes in Monsters of the Multiverse

Yes, if only there were an edition of DnD that had done that ... 🤔

D&D 5E (2014) List of All 33 Races in Mordenkainen's Monsters of the Multiverse

Oh man, don't remind me of that. That was just... bizarre.

D&D 5E (2014) List of All 33 Races in Mordenkainen's Monsters of the Multiverse

Very happy about #1. I felt Aaracocra's fly speed was a bit too good. Very unhappy about #2. I liked the fact that Elves tended to be a little faster than Dwarves. It made playing different races feel a little different.

D&D 5E (2014) Mythological Figures: William the Conqueror

Please note that William II and Robert Curthose were not William's only surviving sons. He also had another that would be quite important: Henry, who went on to rule England (and Normandy too) for 35 years as King Henry I, 1100-35. He wasn't given much in the way of lands or inheritance (some...

D&D 5E (2014) Mythological Figures: Huon of Bordeaux

I like that you gave him chain, seeing as plate was not invented yet.
