By far Rolemaster is my favorite fantasy TTPG. Kids are still a bit young for it, and with 5e being a lot easier to consume for newbies it’ll be at least a couple more years before introducing it. Looking forward to the new version though and will certainly support the new ICE buying everything that comes out to read and plan.

Though in reality I just wish I could play Lazvon the Magus some more. :-)

He was close to being too powerful to play much longer anyway, so an NPC will have to suffice… just have remind myself to not use Be Not on any annoying players. ;-)

BTW, if anyone has questions about the new system, I will do my best to answer them. (I'm not affiliated with ICE, but I have been playing the beta for a long time and have a good grip on the rules).

Looking forward to this and the upcoming Treasure Law and Spell Law.

Yes, Spell Law should be coming out shortly after the Core book, as it is already laid out. Treasure Law will be a bit further out. Unfortunately, there are no hard dates for those yet.

The new version of Rolemaster, 'Rolemaster Unified', is releasing December 3rd. It will be available for download on DriveThruRpg.

And it is now all available on Foundry VTT - which is how I game now.

I ran RM2 from 1984 through to 2000. We all sat AD&D 2nd Ed out COMPLETELY in preference for RM. We came back to 3.x in 2000, moved to PF1 and PF2. WE have dabbled in 5e and Tales of the Valiant, but this...?

RM implemented WELL on FVTT is a game changer. I bought it all ; I'll kick tires on it this weekend.

It was a system tailor made for VTTs.

All that time spent looking up charts? Now done by computer. Tracking of conditions? Computer. Looking up modifiers? Done by computer.

The Foundry module is amazingly well done too.
