d20 Lankhmar (for anyone who's interested): A Work in Progress

Races of Nehwon - Quarmallians QUARMALLIANS Along the southwestern coast of the Lankhmar continent sit the towers and walls of Quarmall. Within these impressive, though crumbling, fortifications can be found the topmost layer of an ever-expanding underground empire ruled over by a race of...

d20 Lankhmar (for anyone who's interested): A Work in Progress

Races of Nehwon - Northerner NORTHERNERS The men who travel the icy fields of the north are a breed apart from others, these fair-haired powerfully built men travel the lands thought inhospitable by the civilized men of the world. Snow covered plains and harsh mountains serve as home to the...

d20 Lankhmar (for anyone who's interested): A Work in Progress

Mingols MINGOLS Born on the northeastern steppe, this proud race is a menace to all who travel the roads and seas of Nehwon. Mingols tend to be nomadic wanderers who stake out large swaths of territory and then dare any to cross their lands without asking proper permission. The need to...

d20 Lankhmar (for anyone who's interested): A Work in Progress

Races of Nehwon - Klesh'ites KLEsh'itES Native to the jungles in the southeast corner of the Lankhmar continent, klesh'ites are a small quick race of dark-complexioned men. They live throughout the jungles and challenge any to try and lay claim to their lands. Many think these are a...

d20 Lankhmar (for anyone who's interested): A Work in Progress

Nehwon Ghouls GHOULS These are not the undead monsters that so many fear. No, these are a vicious race of men that all who encounter them quickly learn to fear. Found wandering the steppe near the Sea of Monsters on the eastern continent and along the edges of the Parched Mountains to the...

d20 Lankhmar (for anyone who's interested): A Work in Progress

My racial conversions for Lankhmar - EEVANMARENSEERS These people live in a distant, decadent empire. They have an old culture that has decayed from its once great mastery over the distant eastern lands. The only remaining city in the empire is its capital, Eevanmarensee. From this city...

    Tell me about your calendar

My calendar has 15 months with 4 weeks in each and each week having 7 days. This totals 420 days. The elves use a lunar calendar that has only 14 months each of their months having 5 weeks with 6 days per week. I did this because elves were new to the world and it reinforces how different...

Archer/Duelist Core Class, anybody got one?

And yet another version of a Duellist Here is the bare bones version of a duellist I once made for a campaign I had planned to run in Lankhmar. It was made pre 3.5 but should give you an idea of what I was going for. THE DUELIST LVL BAB FORT REF WILL SPECIAL 1 +1 +0...

changing the way cross class skills work

It sounds a bit dangerous, but as I sit here thinking about it, the only people with a large number of skill points to sink into it are skill based characters to begin with, and of course the genius level human wizard. The one thing I wouldn't touch is the skill level limits. Cross class...

Enhancing the Charisma Stat: A fortune mechanic

I've been toying around with a low-magic setting that uses a few variant classes and not much magic at all. I was looking into action points as one possibility, but this Charisma idea might just do the trick. In my case though, I doubt I would apply a reroll penalty. I don't want to screw...

    (PrC) Thug Type Prestige Class

I didn't even think about that point. How about making lethal dealing damage weapons have no penalty when used to subdue (per your suggestion) at level 1. Then at level 4, they gain the ability to convert Sneak Attack dice into subdual damage attacks. That might be able to work.

    (PrC) Thug Type Prestige Class

So, this other one. Does it seem reasonable? Good, bad, just too off for words? All help and critiquing would be greatly appreciated.

    (PrC) Thug Type Prestige Class

Another class that I had come up with. A mashing of odd thoughts, this one came about just this morning. Please look it over and let me know what you think. I could really use some help in getting these things down pat. Just as a frame of reference, this would be for the Lankhmar Campaign...

    Bag of Holding Q

It is a non-dimensional space, so the wraiths would be trapped in the bag. If they weigh nothing, then technically they won't overfill it. If the bag ever gets cut or overfilled though its contents immediately spill back into the Prime Plane where the bag was at the moment. The players...

(PrC) Thieves who steal from Thieves

This prestige class I came up with for the Lankhmar campaign setting (low magic). Its a group of thieves who found religion and now dedicate themselves to stealing from other thieves. Please look it over and give me your ideas to help improve it. Base Attack: Rogue/Cleric Primary Save: Reflex...

Variant Cleric for those holy folk who don't actively adventure

I think I am going to go with them as an NPC class and figure that any adventuring clerics are the standard breed having been taught what is needed to survive. Thanks for all ideas and I appreciate the thoughts. Any more ideas for alternate PC clerics are still more than appreciated. Harmyn

Variant Cleric for those holy folk who don't actively adventure

I'm just not wild about the adept as an NPC divine class for organized PC race societies. That's the big reason for not going with that one and swapping out the spell list. As a PC class I might consider giving them a bonus feat once every five levels and Scribe Scroll at second level. That...

Variant Cleric for those holy folk who don't actively adventure

I was toying around with an idea for a new campaign and it occured to me that not all clerics might perfectly fit into the class concept as presented. What follows are my thoughts on a less adventurous, more stay-at-home style of cleric suitable for NPC's (or maybe the player that wants to try...
