Sylar got her anyway. They were very clever about this. We learned the news when Mohinder was on the phone with the FBI, mentioning the guy in LA dying 9 days ago, and Charlie dying 2 days ago. Very casually slipped into the storyline.

Marathon weekend doing work on the computer, with the show streamed from CBS at the same time. Overall, fun and decent, but not great. I like that they are handing out info at a decent pace (Lost...I'm looking at you!). The normalcy stuff is ok, but I'm surprised that they haven't established...

That's why I think this was a good, but not a great episode. They've used flashbacks as a storytelling device more than enough, and need to stay away from it for a while. I did like how we saw the same scene at the beginning, without all of the facts, and then at the end, and the context...

Agreed. As long as it's every now and then, an episode without toasters or dogfights is just fine. The acting was very good, the writing was excellent, and we learned some interesting stuff about the characters. Kara's choice was fascinating. Actually, I was sorta wondering if Lee's...

Just saw the 1st one - CBS.com has all of the eps. It was ok - very cardboard character stuff and setups, but apocalypses are always fun. :D I'll watch a few more as I find the time, and decide for myself. (and kudos to CBS for putting all of the episodes online)

Pretty much. The psion has flexibility that wizards, and even sorcerors don't have. For the next campaign we do (whenever that is...we have 3 right now), I want to do a mana/psion equivalent arcane caster. There are rules for it in Unearthed Arcana, I believe.

How is Jericho? I haven't seen it. Heck, I don't even know when it's on. :) Worth picking up midstream? In general, I love post-apocalyptic stuff.
