Since the cloth map is so difficult to find unless you make one yourself maybe this is a good alternative. The Gale Force Nine Store Gale Force 9 has the DS map printed on vinyl. My only complaint is that you can only write on it with wet erase markers.

Here's another question for you helpfull people. The monsters in the MM1 are almost hoplessly outdated now it seems. Even the MM errata isn't updated. Does the monster creator (or whatever it's called) from DDI update all the MM1 monsters?

Cause they are unfortunately not in the MM3. Are the new rules for creating monster listed anywhere? I know DMG2 changed the way you made solos and elites but it sounds like MM3 added some more changes. So are they listed anywhere?

If you look at the bottom of the Eight Characteristics of Athas article at the excerpt schedule, next to "Ch 6: Running a Dark Sun Game" is a picture of an Athasian Half-Giant/Goliath. Let the whining commence.

4E giants are large already. So it makes sense a 4E half-giant would be medium. If he grew to large he'd just be a 'giant'.
