    Weapon plus

The recent White Plume Mountain Revised download on WotC's site has the mechanics for three legacy weapons at the back. It seems to imply that performing the rituals are how you get the feats. For example, for the legacy trident Wave: Cheers, Vurt

    Weapon plus

I don't have the book so I can't really verify this, but I believe the "wake up" feats you get for free as bonus feats as part of the ritual. Still have to spend the cash though. Cheers, Vurt

[request/rant] To all reviewers, amateur and pro...

I seem to recall there have been cases of companies hiring people to write good reviews of their products so as to sell more. (Not in the RPG industry that I'm aware of, but consider the exposure that Amazon or eBay can get a company.) Places where reviews get posted have a difficult time...

I for one would welcome even partisan comments and highly critical critique. Actually, any kind of feedback would be nice. At least it would imply somebody read the review. As it stands, it currently feels like we're writing into the void, it's hard to tell if there's anyone out there reading...

    Dispel Magic vs Mind Blast

The closest psionic equivalent would be psionic blast: So I would agree that as an instantaneous effect, there is no subsequent dispelling. Cheers, Vurt

    Magic holy symbols?

I think a couple of items in Weapons of Legacy act as cloaks of resistance. I don't see why you couldn't just replace the various magical amulets and scarabs and such with holy symbols. Cheers, Vurt

When Do You (GM) Kill PCs?

If the players have planned well, or are using good tactics, and the dice just aren't rolling their way, I'll usually fudge a roll here or there to keep them in the game. Doesn't always work, but it often helps. On the other hand, if the players have set on a course of action that is clearly...

What to gestalt a monk with

My vote goes to monk/psychic warrior. With inertial armor, which lasts 1hr/level and if you fully augment, goes up +1 AC every 2 levels, and animal affinity for Dex AND Wisdom, you'll be nigh unhittable. And that's before magic items! The two have excellent synergies. Cheers, Vurt

    Using Gestalt?

My current campaign we went back to standard classes for a refresher, and so far it hasn't been much of a problem. Actually, the simplicity of leveling up only one class at a time is a breath of fresh air! *GRIN* A gestalt level 3/3 character is around level 4-5 as a regular character...
