    Bloodthirsty PC's

Sorry, I have to quibble. I think that the NPC's were utterly wrong in that regard. He did deserve it. No matter what the secret, ultimately, he's still responsible for his brother's murder and any evil acts he commited. I dont think your characters "failed" at the "moral skill challenge" at...

Did WotC underestimate the Paizo effect on 4E?

In our group its unaimous that we dont like 4e. However, there were several folks(2-3 in a group of 8) that love SWS. If 4e were more like SWS as they were hoping 4e would, there might have been converts. Essentials wont change their minds.

    Live feed...

Depends if she's moving around the whole place or staying in a realitively smaller area and looping around. If its the later then she's just not getting around enough. if its the former.....oh boy....

    Is Greyhawk Relevant?

Is your game posted anywhere or the after reports? I'd love to see an old greyhawk game run with modern rules and see what you do. Sooner or later our Ptolus game is gonna end, and someone else is going to have to take over. I'd like to take it to greyhawk, since its such a wide open setting....

Did WotC underestimate the Paizo effect on 4E?

Some is a stretch. RHoD is pretty much the best one they put out, and Return to the TOEE was the only other one that I think qualifies. After that there's really not anything else.

    D&D 3.x Anyone still making 3.5e material?

How much more 3.5 material do you need? There's a crap ton out there, I can confortably run 3.5 games now till I retire in 30-40 years.

    Subscription levels dropping

Mine cancelled because, well now money is tighter, but back then, for some reason, you kept rejecting the paypal automated payment from the bank, even though teh money was there. Or paypal did. Either way after a yearish of it going fine, one of the two ends was rejecting the money.

What would WotC need to do to win back the disenchanted?

Their taking apage from Games Workshop- pump and dump, the new customer matters and will put more money in short term. The long term guys will eitehr be there or not so why bother to cater to them. If they stick around great, if not, they'll find some new guy.

What would WotC need to do to win back the disenchanted?

But considering that early books didnt have alot of fluff, I'm not sure thats going to be a good selling point to buy instead of a DDI subscription for the compendium. Heck I know a couple guys that split the yearly cost and use an account.....teh one could care less about the fluff, just the...

What would WotC need to do to win back the disenchanted?

Yes, but youru ingoring something. If 35% of that market is teens, the other 65% is....adults. Which is $4.8 billion dollars....so perhaps excluding warhorses, if its even remotely similar in RPG's isnt the smartest move.

What would WotC need to do to win back the disenchanted?

Unfortunately thats bad too. Since no way am I paying for an online service thats unusable to me. Plus I'm still kinda pissed the magazines are canceled.(yes canceled, I dont care if they put them online. I like print versions).

What would WotC need to do to win back the disenchanted?

Yeah that. Plus even if I want something shiney thats a bit updated but not readically different, there's patherfinder. 4e's moved in a direction I dont personally care for. But I've got too much stuff that works, and stuff that can be done still.

What would WotC need to do to win back the disenchanted?

Couldnt tell you about the newer books, they lost me trying long before then. But MM1 was a horrible read, as was the players book.

What would WotC need to do to win back the disenchanted?

Consider that we have heard that part of the reason the OGL went to GSL, becuase there were some that saw that dollars going to 3rd party folks were dollars not going into their coffers, and there is a rise of Pathfinder(and others) that pretty much takes many of those disgruntled...

What would WotC need to do to win back the disenchanted?

It has some influence. Alot or a little as a whole I cnat say, but I know I own way more then I could ever use, and I read it all. I do enjoy reading alot of them. 4e books, however are unreadable from an enjoyment standpoint. Adventures maybe, but basic books are impossible.

How badly have past DMs screwed up your current Players?

Well as a player, anytime a DM starts with "you're going to the market shopping, plan spells and weapons accodinging" usually means for me now full combat mode. After a few times of that in the RPGA years back, ist now full armor and weapons and combat spells. No exceptions no matter what the DM...
