Summoning a horse to fight by your side on an adventure is.... well LAME.

Just when Dragon was getting good we now get 3.5. Now they have to start over finding good material. A very WEAK issue. Hopefully they will start including AU stuff in Dragon since it will be better than 3.5 any day of the week.

Wow thats pathetic. Its OK for a spell but change the name because its an insult to the Call Lightning spells of yore.

How much is it to make? If its 2000 gps then its a continuous effect. Level one spell at first level of casting on a continuous item is 2000gps. Its always on.

Its also a lot more fun to boost the monsters than it is to nerf the PC's.

I was just looking at the peek at Horrid Wilting. Why would anyone memorise it unless they were wizard hunting? 20d6 and a Fort save... not to usefull against about 4/5ths of the creatures in the Game and it doesn't affect undead or constructs. What do you think they are doing to make it useful?

Not me but my DM has screwed the whole party by insisting we convert to 3.5 and not allowing changes to our characters to correct for the loss of abilities. The average party level is 16 right now as well.

Illusions! Pah! They are useless! Now the reason why they are useless is this... the whole 'interaction' thing is a DM call. Its the DMs call whether conversation is interaction, or if they touch your illusioned self. Alter self is at best OK... if you have to infiltrate for a couple of days...

I've got some issues with the Polymorph Self changes We used the spell for recon... not combat and are thus a little disturbed by the changes. The new duration makes it completely worthless for anything but combat buffing. Poly other was also used a couple of times for deep infiltration...

+2 is how I'd go maybe +3. Its a potent but cool ability... I might add it to a game I was thinking about running if you dont mind? Thinking a bit more... +2 not enough breakable spells it effects to warrent a +3.

I'd have to vote for Minor Globe myself... saves you more grief in a high magic environment.
