Fair enough... but I fail to see how the parrying dagger would be a improved weapon when used in melee... but I doubt that would work with some GM's I know (aka "by the book" ones.. and yes they exist.... I just write my own additional rules for my campaigns.) You seem like a fine/flexible GM :)

But he would still be able to use it in melee as a dagger.. so it's still better then any shield

at most I would make it a +1 because you have the option to throw it or use if it disarmed or sum such

For sure.... my guess, they are seeing how far the player base will follow them.. Pathfinder is already suffering from a bit of power bloat, there are things they have been wanting to "fix" for years... to be honest, I hope they do a 2.0, the game needs it (in my opinion)

Of course, the first attack to hit would gain sneak attack... but that's the point... using one weapon..... I get one chance to hit or miss, if I miss my sneak attack for the round is "wasted" using 2 weapons, I get two chances to hit (or miss), if I miss with one attack and not with the other...

After seeing nectomancer's kickstarter... I have a feeling we will see a 3rd party spit out a psionics book before WoTC... Hell, we (PCI) may just convert and republish 'psionics unbound' (our 200+ page psionics book fr The d20 days)
