Excellent! The books you have are perfect. I hope to get a few more responses within the next few days, but go ahead and make up a character anyway. Pick whatever race/class you'd like from the list I provided above, then post the info here. Take a look at some of the other threads in this...
I've been considering starting up a play-by-post game, most likely using Scarred Lands. My question is this: what's the best way to approach this? I realize that it involves a lot of work, and will be slow, but any suggestions on how to proceed would be helpful.
P.S. - I have read the...
Wow. I guess we can all safely say that this bit has been done to death.
Although, the name doesn't exactly roll off the tongue................
Has anyone heard anything recently about when this beast is due? I know they plan on releasing all 4 books at once, so delays were expected. Just curious. (BTW, I am intrigued by the setting, even if I haven't played the CCG).
Present! [hand raised]
Before I had to abandon my campaign due to school starting (nursing school), the party was based out of Meliad. They were in the Fouled Forest/Gascar Peaks region. It worked pretty well, as it lent an air of a "classic" D&D adventure.
Now that all my time is consumed...
It might not be exactly what you're looking for, but the old module "The Assasin's Knot" (L2, if believe) brings back some good memories. My players seemed to enjoy that one. It's more of a murder mystery, but there are a few nice plot hooks.
To be precise, does anyone know where a full version of the termana map might be downloaded, much like the Ghelspad map from the S&SS website? They have the scan of the Gaz cover, but that cuts off the sides (never mind the other text on it).
Well, Airwolf, it sounds like your boss realized how much more valuable you would be with the degree. He/She saw good things in you, and so made the offer.
As for me, I'm 35 and just starting Nursing school. I've been married for 12 years and have two kids. I've been in Film & Video...
Believe it or not, but the postman actually knocked on the door and handed me mine, saying "Didn't think you'd want this folded"! He was also dropping off a small box, but I thanked him profusely anyway!!! Thank you USPS!!!
Same here
I ended up cancelling mine as well. Real life has a habit of getting in the way of gaming. Besides, with me going back to school for a nursing degree (I'm only 35!), I kinda doubt I'll have much time to game, much less breathe. :)
I have to say Book of the Righteous, as well. Although, for me and my current campaign, I have to add The Divine and The Defeated too.
Other than those two, all the other stuff I have is good, but not matching sheer quality for BoTR.
Schoolhouse Rock.....such memories...
Thanks for the link to the site, KD!!! I grew up with that on Saturday mornings, and I like to think I'm a better human being for it!! [attempts to sing]......."I'm just a Bill..........."
Happy Independence Day, everyone!!!
