I still think tailoring your own "Undead overlord minion" is the best. New monsters aren't always the way to go, but sometimes they're the best way. Outsiders are easy to do because they vary so much from one form to another.

Half-Fiend Goblins with Wings? Flying monkeys!! :) If it's in a world with lots of flying cities, etc just add wings to something... Ogre Mages have a fly speed, that would work.

Just use the outsider type to create your own, it's better when they don't have names. Make a 3hd outsider with some undead type spell-like abilities and appropriate stats and call it a day. BAB like fighter, all favored saves, darkvision, and a few spells. Master of Undead 3d8+6hp (19hp)...

Just use the Druids spell list with the sorcerors template? Maybe change around the HD and BAB progression?

Why would that be? It's just in an open sheath and readied to go so the fighter can pull it out. If the Goblin gets his hand on it then it's out of the sheath, there shouldn't be an attack roll on that.

Both these spells are listed as instantaneous, can you extend only the part of them that stuns, not the damage? What's the difference between a spell like daze with a 1rnd duration and a spell like soundburst with an instant duration?
