    Your First Gaming Book?

Heroes Unlimited. I was 11, which would make the year 1995. It was my brother's book, but I snuck into his room and read it alot when he wasn't home.

What is the best system for zombie games?

A friend of mine is interested in running a campaign based on a comic book series called "The Walking Dead", which is basically a zombie story set in modern times. He asked me what game/rules system would be best suited for this type of game, and I really didn't know. I've never played All Flesh...

    The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

I just read the article in this month's Game Informer magazine about The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. All I can say is wow. I had a lot of fun with Morrowind, and Oblivion looks to be similar in style. The graphics have to be seen to be believed, I can't describe the goodness. Better than Doom...

What are you planning for Halloween?

On Halloween I'm just handing out candy. Tying to make Halloween as awsome for the kids as it was for me not too long ago. The day after that, however, is Tarzenflarg Day. Ah yes, good old Tarzenflarg Day. Don't know what this is? Well, the ancient order of The Knights of Foobumbus (nothing to...

    Starwars Battlefront: The Inevitable Thread

I rented it for Xbox and I am very impressed. I heard the Xbox version was better than the PC version mainly because of the controls. I think the controls on Xbox are pretty good, although flying will take some practice. I would have bought it by now, but I just got Fable and some rpg books, so...

    Good Multiplayer XBox games?

For sure Halo, you just can't beat Halo's multiplayer. If you want something like gauntlet but not gauntlet, try D&D Heroes. It's four players, and it's a pretty good game. Though it's a different type of game, Burnout 2 or 3 are both really fun multiplayer games, and they are good entertainment...

    Fable Cut Scenes

... How do the cutscenes not advance the story? I know the main quest is a little slow at first, but just after the arena quest, things pick up. You'll see.

New D&D Aide Product (at least to me...)

Hey, a friend of mine got a set of these and says they work really well. I haven't seen them in action yet, though. I ordered a set, I guess ther are on back order or something, but I can't wait to get them... My group just started a major dungeon-crawl style campaign, so they will get lots of...

    Anyone get Fable yet?

I played a friend's copy. I didn't play more than a couple hours, but I like the game so far. It reminds me of a Zelda game a little bit. I really like the combat system, it feels pretty natural. I also like the depth of the game, how your character changes over time, and the good vs. evil thing...

    Favourite horror flick?

the old Dawn of The Dead (1979 i think) and any other Romero zombie movie. (BTW Cthulhudrew, you'll probably like Day of the Dead if you like his other stuff.) Halloween The Exorcist The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (both the old one and the new one are great) The Changeling and of course the...

    Dark Legacies (D20)

I also have seen pictures and previews for it, but no reviews, and I havent seen one in any store near me. The site says it's out, so we'll just have to keep watch I guess.

    The Official Warforged Theme Song

I agree. I am a big fan of rock/metal, but when it comes to my perferred gaming soundtrack, there isnt a metal song to be found. Besides old classical music, it's mostly Hans Zimmer, Danny Elfman, and John Williams. Metal and D&D is just too cheesy for my game... even though otherwise I like...

What's the best D&D product EVAR?

Planescape box set: Because it added so much to my homebrew setting. Eberron: Because it made me stop using my homebrew setting.

Detroit Gameday II: Dec 4th AFTERMATH!!!

I will come, and probably play rather than run something. If you need somebody to run a game I could probably do it though.

    The Official Warforged Theme Song

Here is a tune my friend made using Garage Band. One of the players in my group is playing a Warforged barbarian and wanted a theme song... :\ Anyway one of the other players made this and I think it's pretty cool. So tell me what you think. Warforged Theme

    Star Wars Minatures: Who's Buying?

I'm not sure if I'll be buying any, my group rarely plays Star Wars. I looked at the gallery, and most of the minis look pretty cool... But Boba Fett is ... The coolest mini ever...

    Monster Manual 3 art gallery

I think the art is pretty good, it makes me eager to get my copy (should be here next week). I'm not to sure if i like Matt Cavotta's art for the Eberron races though... I think WotC should have gotten DMAC to do them.
