    Tieflings are Draenai

Some of the tiefling's accent has Indian sub-continental intonations so I wonder if it's a hybrid accent or an actress from either Russia or India doing the other's accent?

Sailors on the Seas of Fate - Rana Mor!

Your watches pass without incident, bar some grumbling from Terez. Cries of night-haunting beasts sound across the expanse of the Ran Pe. The coughing growl of a leopard, the booming howl of some kind of ape perhaps, or the clatter of a hornbill. Day 4 (dawn)- The Ran Pe river Balama greets...

"Aw'ight bruv, but it's jus' Rikki, know whaddah mean?" says the rather lanky, skanky, manky dockside prophet in a friendly manner.

WHY are elves so danged cool?

OH yes, when the elves in the Silmarillion are wrong they take wrongness all the way. Feanor and co were full on badasses.

WHY are elves so danged cool?

Haha, yes that's normally what would happen but I agree with you 100% - I and all my friends at school used to play elves (back in Basic and 2E) because they were idealised. Now I play humans (gotta love the extra feat!)

WHY are elves so danged cool?

Give us reasons to LOVE, elves, guys. Mary Sues ain't loveable. ;) I like them thanks to Tolkien's portrayal of them; yes they're beautiful, graceful, ageless, good with weaponry and magic BUT they are a dying race, this isn't their world anymore. No matter how good they are, the younger races...

    Requesting DM

PbP makes time zones etc sort of irrelevant - you don't have to post real-time. I make my posts in PbP when most other players are in bed, as I'm in the UK. The best advice I can give is rather than creating your characters and looking for a DM/game, you'd be better off keeping an eye out for...

What was the vedict on soldering vs pinning?

I've never heard of anyone using solder for ordinary pinning - I've used superglue and epoxy resin, which both work fine. Solder seems like too much fuss.

    Requesting DM

TBH, I've only ever seen two PCs die in PbP - the games go so slowly that people tend to be more cautious than they might otherwise be.

    Attempting to start a game.

OK, you have the general cleric list and you pick two domains in addition to that. Now, each day yo can prepare a certain nuber of spells based on your level, and any additional ones from your Wisdom bonus (if any). You can then also prepare one of your two domain spells.

You can choose ANY spell from your list to prepare. You know them all.

Sailors on the Seas of Fate - Rana Mor!

At Theon's interjection, Balama gives him a quizzical look and then raises her eyebrows skyward in a display of long-suffering bemusement. "If anyone needs me- in my position as Captain, that is-" she says with annoyance, "I shall be studying." With that she enters her cabin and shuts the door...
