Hercules is clever in his stories, much more so than in the common thoughts now of Hercules as unintelligent, but he does balance out his cleverness with some stupid decisions -- I'd leave INT and WIS as they are to show that.

If we're sticking with a PC build, then you'd have to ignore the divine part of him.

Seems like Hercules would be a little stronger than normal human 20 as a demigod (wrestling constrictors as a baby) and then increase with the girdle, and the Nemean Hide IIRC provides some heavy AC. His usual weapons are club and long bow (don't remember him throwing rocks).

So what I think I'm hearing is that SJ and SF are really nothing alike. SJ is a trippy 5e setting while SF is a heavily re-skinned PF with lasers and ship skirmishes. Does that sound accurate? I hope I have time for both in my life.

So no real sci-fi elements? Just ships flying to kingdoms on other planets? That sounds disappointing. With all I know about SJ being Dice, Camera, Action and Giff with guns, is the tone of SJ supposed to be silly?

With rumors of Spelljammer coming, I’ve got the space itch and have been reading Starfinder rules (never played Pathfinder or pre-5e D&D). Those of you that know Spelljammer, how would you describe its play and tone, especially compared to Starfinder?

What genres, niches, or sparks of imagination do you have for new settings/campaigns, either as an unexplored portion of a pre-existing setting or a brand new one?

I know that WotC has rights to old material which makes reworking it easier and less costly and that D&D fans often clamor for a return of their old favorites. But it seems that kind of model may stifle the game. I would love to see them try new worlds and characters classes without ties to the...
