I thought that the Lord Toede book was funny as hell. Also there are the two books by Weis and Perrin, Brothers in Arms and... the other one. The meetings sextet is adequite, if not fantastic. Most of the books with novellas by Weis/Hickman are worth buying simply for the novellas themselves...

Speaking of maps... Has anyone taken the map segments from the book and pieced them together digitally? It's like they just forgot to make a big fold out map, and instead cut it up and put it in random places. I mean, I've got boatloads of old product maps.. but I can always more, right? -F

I have an old version of pcgen (still with the old data sets. woot!) that I use for character generation. I've even figured out how to edit stuff, so when I find a mistake I can fix it. I also use some PC programs through Virtual PC, like campaign cartographer and fractal mapper, etools...

Yup I, for one, am quite proud of my Macintosh affiliation. I've got a lovely tiBook that I use for gaming, and it runs everything I need, including everything I have to run through VirtualPC. It's fabulous. -F
