    What are warning points.

I must confess that I cannot acess the boards enough to know who the problematic ones are, although I always try to give people another chance. The system is very handy indeed as it allows the mods to simply assign points and let the guy go away without their own intervention being needed. Just...

    What are warning points.

Interesting addition, but I wonder if people would not make use of it to determine whether the one talking to them is a troll or not, this may make people that have been making unpolite and unapropriate posts in the past be rashly treated. I hope this does not happen, else the system might have...

Which of these books are you buying?

Wouldn't adding a poll be an option, I mean, we can try and reply to the poll you know! ;)

Is the boarder part of the square?

I would rule that the character would actually aim from the middle of his own square and, in case this is a problem, to the middle of another square... this means no problems.... at all. ;)

    Which Transformer are you? (images)

Hey, they say my means to an end are questionable and that I want universal domination... i don't know if I am really lucky you know... ;)

Have Your RPG Purchased Dropped Off?

My purchases surely have decreased, when 3rd edition got out I got every book, then i skipped stronghold builders, then I should have skipped book of challenges and then there were too many books scheduled... last year i bought D&D 3.5 Core Gift Set, Midnight Setting (all 4 books) by FFG...

    Automatic Criticals

Maybe if the attack roll total doube the target Ac then you have an automatic critical, an interesting houserule, in this case it would be interesting and it could enter the game since the first levels... now beware the enemy dragons!

    Which Transformer are you? (images)

I am Megatron! Which is funny since my brother got picked up a lot because of his name similarity, he is called Mengaron...

    Automatic Criticals

I don't know whether this was true to AD&D 1st edition or was a house rule but there was this level attack thing, the greater the difference the more attacks you had on the beasts, you could easily rule that every 10 points above the target Ac the hit deals additional damage, this would allow...

    Dying...

That is what this thread is all about.. old timers complaints... of course we are only old timers, diaglo would be ancient timer... almost archeological! ;)

    Dying...

I checked it... I have not seen anyone with the leadership feat yet and have yet to finish the PHB 3.5... great thread, by the way, thanks for the scoop.

    Dying...

Devin, That is a good one, i should have referenced the 3.0 PHB, the 3.5 says turn instead... I have always used the rule as I have learned back then, when i started playign D&D. I hate it when they simply go changing things and get careless about the game terms.

    Enlarge and Shillelagh

I am also toward this, else you have a killing machine in your group, I am DMing midnight, there is a giantblooded character, which is large since the begginign of the game, and he can get the spells, since magic is not class based in midnight. We have not read carefully the writing of the...

    Dying...

Okay, I have red it and I can say that I am not sure how that is by the rules... A character under 0 hit points makes a test every turn, by that they mean every 10 rounds, thus every minute, or they mean every turn the character would act, thus every round? That is because they seem t have...

    Quick Draw and Threat Area...

Thanks guys, I belive that it really should call for a feat chain, with quick draw being base for it, Iaijutsu really is something very stylish and is more based on getting your opponent when he is not ready than anything, since in real life you cannot survive after a well placed strike that...

Archers, Arrows, Improvised Weapons and AoO

Thanks for the response guys. I wondered this when i was rereading the PHB and nothing was there to stop the possiblity without the need for a thousand feats. By the rules and what I have read (note I am not referencing them), drawing an arrow is a free action if you do so for firing it, so the...

Archers, Arrows, Improvised Weapons and AoO

Okay, consider an archer, now you have an enemy adjacent to him, considering that bows cannot be used for an AoO the enemy casts a spell without the defensive casting choice, thus causing possible AoO. In theory an arrow is an improvised weapon, thus the wielder would take a -4 penalty to...

    Quick Draw and Threat Area...

Okay, quick draw lets you draw a weapon as a free action, now consider that the character has a situation where an opponent causes an AoO in a square adjacent. Would the character be allowed to take the longsword out of the scabbard and roll the attack? The point is that while it seems...

    Enlarge and Shillelagh

I have seen this in effect and it is a hell good, now let me ask one thing, do you consider greatclubs to be included in the club aspect of the spell?
