I run published adventures, so I don't need them all that much for local/dungeon interaction. It's the cities that drive me nuts. Everything I can find Online is either too busy or not busy enough -- or prints in a blurry mess. I will have to check out Worldographer.

Going off of this, I would like something that easily lets me create a printable map. We game in person, not on the computer.

I'm not sure. Our sessions typically run 1-2 hours, because my son can't focus for longer than that. We joined the caravan in HoQ. It went smoother than I expected. One of my players mentioned that he missed fighting. (I rolled an encounter, but not an actual battle.) I'm letting each character do one thing a day, two on rest days, so I reminded him that he can go scouting/looking for trouble...

I like that. It keeps the randomness of fate in there, but at the same time it keeps everybody on somewhat equal footing.

For that style of campaign, that makes sense. Not my usual style, but in this case, I like it.

This. Although I have a house rule that if the player isn't ready with their updates, we only roll for hit points and they have to wait for the next session or a break to get the rest of their upgrade. They should know when they are about to level.

It only let me choose one, but we give immediate XP for monsters killed/conquered. We also give XP, though, for information gathered/quests accomplished.
