    I agree that the existing content should be sufficient. A ninja is an assassin. A samurai is a knight. These concepts already exist in the game. If you want to get magical, we have the Monk and the Paladin.

    My interpretation is that treasure in 5e is more of an RP reward than anything else. I like it better this way. I mean, if you just go on adventures to get treasure, and spend all your treasure just to get better at adventuring, then what's the point?

    Holy crap, this is awesome! I love the story about Vecna and Kas, and how the sword of Kas is the only way to permanently destroy the artifacts. The players then immediately ask "So, where's the Sword of Kas?" And there you go, a free adventure hook.

    Every magic item that is not inherently limited requires attunement. Armor doesn't require attunement, because you can only wear one armor at a time. If rings of protection didn't require attunement, you could wear 20 of them and be untouchable.

    This is pretty much what I'm expecting. Like the PHB has "all" the races and classes, and the Monster Manual has "all" the monsters, the DMG should have "all" the magic items. Rule of thumb: If it was in the 1e, it should be in the 5e. Anything else you can fit in, great.

    Polymorph can be used offensively, so there needed to be a reason you couldn't save-or-die people by turning them into jellyfish or whatever.

    About the preview itself: What is the point of this restriction? Why wouldn't you just say "I am going to draw one card," draw it, and then say "I am going to draw one more card"? Unless it means that you only get the declared number of draws ever, but that would seem to defeat the whole purpose.

    Whatever answer you go with, it has to be the same for NPCs and PCs. I will note that a similar mechanic from 4e (the various "mark" powers) was entirely dependent on the opponent knowing about it. I'm also a fan, in general, of giving the players as much info as possible. So my answer is, yes...
