1) Wonderus items that perform normal everyday actions

Ex. Figurine of wonderus power: maid
Wand of cleaning the air
Animated shovel
Do you need 5E stats for this sort of thing? I would think you could just use Aurora's Whole Realms Catalog, or make something up yourself.

In my campaigns, I've always had pills of instant hot water (for baths), brooms of sweeping, various size cubes that heat water/soup when immersed, etc. These things are too expensive for the average commoner, but a great way to siphon off excess gold from PC's.

In previous editions Prestidigitation would cover most of those tasks.

I don't NEED them, I want them... just like the pills for instant hot baths never accured to me, I also think that new players could grok it better if it where in print...

Oh, I didn't explain that well, I meant all the DMG magic items from the past, not every trinket from every supplement ever created. And not even 4e, just 1e-3e. As long as they don't leave out any flametongues or vorpal swords or wands of wonder....

This is pretty much what I'm expecting. Like the PHB has "all" the races and classes, and the Monster Manual has "all" the monsters, the DMG should have "all" the magic items. Rule of thumb: If it was in the 1e, it should be in the 5e. Anything else you can fit in, great.
