How about: Crit on natural 20 Confirm on threat range ie. roll d20 and if unmodified roll is within range crit stands (no BAB or anything). Damage modifier stays the same. Then you can play with the threat range as much as you want, and all weapons will stay balanced relatively.

Found my answer in the SRD. Immunities are classified as Extraordinary so therefore they are retained while in the new form. Rats!:(

But are the natural immunties physical qualities? Then the it would seem that the bat qualities would take precedence.

Don't 'end of spell' effects also have durations? In that case in the AMF the original spell ends, the end of spell effect kicks in, but because of the AMF is suppressed until either you leave the AMF or the end of spell effect duration expires.

If a half-dragon(brass immun. to fire ) polymorphs into a bat, does it retain it's immunity to fire in the new form?

It concerns me more with the rogues. If they have +1 Bucklers, that increases their AC by 2, with no penalties. Not bad considering they are not trained in it's use.

Rogues and Sorcerors. I am thinking to institute a -1 minimum penalty for any non-proficiency. Does that sound reasonable?

I have started noticing my players using bucklers without proficiency. All they do is get masterwork or better and the Armor Check penalty becomes 0, so in effect there is no penalty to using them without having proficiency. Something seems wrong with this. Am I interpreting the rules wrong, or...
