I had considered this. I'm also kind of hoping I could take chill touch for a good ranged attack.

Which is a more optimal choice? You gain two wizard cantrips with this class and these two cantrips really help mitigate the loss of an extra attack.

Thanks for all the input! The DM is allowing "some" UA. I'm considering emulating the whole Paladin/Sorcerer idea with a stone sorcerer/hexblade warlock. Or I could just go sorcerer / Paladin. LOL
