    Maenads in BoVD?

These are really crazy, their madness heightened by the effects of the Feywild. They're basically bezerker fey.

    Maenads in BoVD?

Maenads are presented as a monster theme; they are super-emotional (read crazy) fey creatures that have given into madness and violence. They no longer have crystalline skin.

Steading of the Hill Giant Chief

I think Chris should just keep going into the D and Q series.

Sandboxing in Sharn - what do I need to prepare?

If you haven't done so already, get a hold of the 3.5e sourcebook, Sharn: City of Towers. Its got plenty of stuff that still be used in a 4e game and would be invaluable to what you're trying to do.

D&D 4E What are the best 4e Modules?

Here's my list from Dungeon (I haven't had a chance to read alot of the more recent adventures): "Baba Yaga's Dancing Hut" (196) "The Five Deadly Shadows" (195) "Going Ape" (192) "Reign of Despair" (191) "Force of Nature" (190) "Baelard's Legacy" (188) "Devil's Due" (188) "Beneath the Dust"...

D&D 4E What are the best 4e Modules?

If we're showing bias, then I'm going to name "Oasis of the Golden Peacock" in Dungeon 169! :)

Dragon 406 and Dungeon 197 ToC is Up!

You'll get a double dose of hordelings this month since they also appear in the upcoming BoVD.

Dragon 406 and Dungeon 197 ToC is Up!

You can read them here and here, though it looks like the "Eye on..." articles are under the wrong ToC. It looks like evil and fey are the order of the day; unexpectedly, my article bringing back the classic hordelings is getting published this month. I hope everyone enjoys the random tables.

Dungeon 195 - Bestiary: Flowers in the Darkness

The language for the hangman tree's swallow power was changed during development; PCs should still be able to make skill checks to escape, though the rest of the condition still applies.

    Backdrop: Moonshae Isles

Wow, that has to be one of the longest non-adventure DDI articles ever published. Quite the information dump; its great stuff and makes me want to set a campaign in the Moonshae Isles.

Dragon 405 - Class Acts: Swordmage - The Winterguard of Cendriane

There's already a series of feats from Arcane Power that do this. The heroic tier feat slows, the paragon feat gives a damage boost, and the epic tier feat immobilizes.

    Another One bites the dust

You definitely need a thick skin, especially if you write content for players. While it would be nice for everyone to like my stuff, I know that's unlikely to happen. For my 4e freelance stuff I've done for DDI I measure success by the fact that I like what I wrote, WotC liked what I wrote...

Dragon 405 - Class Acts: Swordmage - The Winterguard of Cendriane

Thanks! While I don't think they're a top tier defender or that I "fixed" them in any way, I think that I met my goal of giving them a bunch of new, cool options that would be a lot of fun to play around with.

My article is up here. I hope you guys enjoy it.

This guy has Heroes of the Feywild.

I got my copy of Heroes of the Feywild this afternoon and as I was paging through it tonight I noticed that my coure attendant and fiddling grig familiars from my Dragon 390 article made the book! I didn't know that was happening. Awesome.

    Runepriests of Kara-Tur is up!

If only Kara-Tur didn't have two religions with almost the exact same name!

Design & Development: Heroes of the Feywild

There's really nothing I've read about this book that I haven't liked. I think I'm picking it up the day it goes on sale at the Premier stores instead of waiting for Amazon.

Dungeon 195 - Bestiary: Flowers in the Darkness

Yep, the yellow musk creeper is definitely an old favorite of mine.

Dungeon 195 - Bestiary: Flowers in the Darkness

Yep, I definitely noticed the overall dearth of plant monsters in this edition, and there's even more that I'd love to convert.
