Unearthed Arcana Spells & Magic Tattoos: New Unearthed Arcana

I personally get a huge Fey Eladarin vibe off them honestly, although you can make them look like whatever Fey you want.

Unearthed Arcana Spells & Magic Tattoos: New Unearthed Arcana

Btw the Acid attack spell felt weirdly out of place with all the summoning spells, which makes it interesting. It likely means something, why was it there, it doesn't fit the theme, its the odd man out. So likely it ties into something else, but what? And what is all this UA stuff form.

Unearthed Arcana Spells & Magic Tattoos: New Unearthed Arcana

The Fey can teleport every single round as a bonus action meaning they basically have at will misty step with a bonus effect. This isn't just usefully for combat either, I can see alot of utility in this. A deciever teleports beside someone, grabs some thing of value and then leaves for example...

What would you summon with Country Music, Poka Music, Raggae Music and Rap Music?

I'm aware you can home brew, but that is not useful feed back for an official product.

Okay the Tattoos scream Forgotten Realms, the summoning spells scream FR, Planescape and MtG. I like the Tattoos, they are fine. The summoning spells need some tweeks. Along with type, you should be able to choose size, small, medium, large. Not all clerics are good, so either clerics...

Critical Role Explorer's Guide to Wildemount Review

Greyhawk and Planescapes wishes it was the Forgotten Realms, FR stole all the best parts of Greyhawk and Planescapes stuff, did it better and left those settings dead in gutter.

I'll point out that Rangers can already summon Fey. Conjure Animals (which summons creatures that are both beasts/fey) and Conjure Woodland Creature which can summon stuff like Satyrs and Sprites.

Eberron: Rising from the Last War was great too.

There is no more interesting setting, the Forgotten Realms is incredible.

Wait, so Wildemount isn't part of the Forgotten Realms? 🤣😂😉

Critical Role Explorer's Guide to Wildemount Review

Exactly. Unlike other D&D settings which are largely static needing only a few mechanical updates FR is a living setting that has been radically altered.

Critical Role Explorer's Guide to Wildemount Review

No the rest of Faerun is not detailed in the various hardcovers, one region was Chult, the rest are all Swordcoast based or on other worlds/planes. And yes FR does in fact need a "All-in-one" book, everything else is either out of date, unofficial, or poorly supported right now or the Swordcoast.

    D&D 5E Games & Settings

Hellenistika is really more then just Greek, its Greek dominated multiculturalism. The other Greek Settings are mythic greek. Perhaps seperating Hellenistic Settings and Mythic Greek Settings would make sense.

    D&D 3.x No Longevity Magic in 3e?

5e has the Undying Patron Warlock that eventually reduces your aging to 1 year for every 10 years you live. True Polymorph can turn someone permanantly into something immortal like an angel. Planeshift can send you to the Astral Plane where you don't age. This one should work for almost any...

Critical Role Do you think WotC will update the Tal'Dorei Campaign Setting guide?

Read up on a wiki about Issylra and Maequet and there really don't seem to be much on either one of them honestly, compared to say Wildemount or Tal'Dorei. A couple of city states and that seems to be it. Neither seems to be meaty enough for a Campaign Setting Book.

Critical Role Do you think WotC will update the Tal'Dorei Campaign Setting guide?

Just out of curiousity why do you think it will be Issylra and why would you prefer Maequet?

    D&D 5E (2014) Mythological Figures: Prospero

I've never read the Tempest, Shakespear is fun to qoute, but aweful to read. But I did enjoy the Second Season of The Librarians were Prospero is the main villian.

Critical Role Do you think WotC will update the Tal'Dorei Campaign Setting guide?

WotC loves being repetitive, it cuts down on how much effort they have to expend. They've reprinted stuff so many times this edition, its starting to become a predictable pattern. Reprinting is their jam, for them its a feature, not a bug.

Critical Role Do you think WotC will update the Tal'Dorei Campaign Setting guide?

That would take alot of effort, I think WotC will take the easy route first, then go to Continent #3 when the next season of CR is over, when ever that happens.
