    Your interpretation is wrong. That particular line is always - as in, without fail, ever - used for the range of the power.

    You must be in melee range. The range is Melee and the target is one creature. Thus, you must target one creature within melee range. If they wanted it to be only the ally that mattered, they would have made it a Close Burst 5 (or 10 or whatever) and the target would be one ally.

    If the ranger is adjacent to the goblin, he can flank. If he isn't, he can't. The only rule for flanking in 4E is that you must be adjacent, must not be helpless, and must be in the appropriate position relative to another flank-capable ally.

    Charwoman Gene: Your attack bonus for the hand axe should be +7 (+4 str +2 proficiency +1 fighter weapon talent). Your Cleave will only deal 4 damage to the secondary target (fixed damage doesn't add modifiers to damage rolls such as Weapon Focus). Other than that, I don't see any mistakes.

    It is not at-will. It's an encounter power. Rangers get 0 at-will Utility powers.

    Walking Dad: Only see three errors on your character sheet. One, your Healing Surge value should be 6 (1/4 of 25 = 6.25, rounded down to 6). Also, your Dragon Breath should be 1d6 + 1 from astral fire, not +2. My guess is that at one point you had 12 con and forgot about the surges and breath...

    Alright, I have a proposal for the Company of the Morning Sun. Unless I hear dissension on that by mid-day tomorrow, that's the name I'll use for the party and the game. As soon as I have the party name, I'll get the RG up, and as soon as everyone's checked into the RG the game will begin.

    I'm not aware of any power/ability/whathaveyou that allowing Small creatures to ride Medium mounts would break. Go for it. Though I'd be tempted to just model the wolfriders as a single monster.

    Note that they've said that five of the classes have "never before been seen". I think speculation about anything outside the barbarian, sorcerer, and druid (which are confirmed) is pretty pointless.
