(IR) 1st ooc-thread of the 5th IR (open)

So long as you are not foolish enough to reenact Ivid's folly and invade Nyrond you have little to fear from me. However, should you find that my kingdom is just too delectible to resist, I'll be happy to demonstate how Aerdy lost the last war. And this time there will be no Lynwerd the Appeaser...

(IR) 1st ooc-thread of the 5th IR (open)

Greetings Knight Otu, looks like we are going to be neighbors. hopefully the bad blood between the former leaders of our nations, which has led in the past to terrible feuds, will not automaticly sour your veiw of Greater Nyrond.

Yes You may. Litberg@Yahoo.com Please put [IR] in the subject line so I may spot them easier. And Edena, get some rest, there's allways tomorrow.

(IR) Announcing a New Strategic Roleplaying Campaign of Epic Proportions!

All right after much consideration, I've decided to join in, claiming Nyrond and the duchy and county of Urnst. Provided no one object of course. Here's a quick history of "Greater Nyrond", as I like to call it: Nyrond was hard hit by the Greyhawk Wars, with almost a hundred thousand dead...

(IR) Announcing a New Strategic Roleplaying Campaign of Epic Proportions!

From 1st/2nd edition AD&D, actualy. I don't recall if there is a 3rd edition rule for clerics cut off from there gods, but in earlier editions clerics were limited to low level spells (which were not granted by the deity itself) in situations like this.

(IR) Announcing a New Strategic Roleplaying Campaign of Epic Proportions!

serpenteye Wrote (way back on page one) I'm curous, If worshipers are cut off from there gods, how are Divine spellcasters reciving their spells. Normaly clerics (with the obvious exception of the cult of Iuz) would be limited to spells of 3rd level or less under these circumstances. Edit...

(IR) Announcing a New Strategic Roleplaying Campaign of Epic Proportions!

Greetings and salutations, I recived WR's E-mail earlier this week and have been pouring over the thread and decifering the rules and have decided to say hi. I haven't decided if I want to partake in the festivites as of yet. Oh and Eluvan, The 'Kevellond League' was an alliance of William's...

    I miss Melkor (3rd Gnome IR) :)

Greetings and salutations I just happened a'pon this thread and thought I'd say 'ello. For those of you who don't remember me, I was Turrosh Mak, leader of the Pomarj for the early chapters of the third IR, until I passed that torch to O'Skoteinos. I was also responsible for (or at least...

<< PLANESCAPE >> How do you defeat the Lady of Pain?

This is exactly my line of thought. After all, in the outer planes, belief is reality. If you get enough people to beleve in something, it is so. The Lady of Pain is undefeatible because the inhabitants of sigil beleve her to be. Her power ultimatly comes from the fear she instills. If...

    ETools Datasets downloads

The reason you can't find those old data sets is in part because of the patch. The deal between CMP and WOTC was that CMP would make the very neccessary patch for E-Tools, and in return they would have exclusive rights to make and distribute Wizards data sets. Which means that those old fan...

    Suggestions for scary movies

I must concur. Personally I think it's good sound effects which make a film trully chilling. Take Poltergeist, for example. Whenever I hear Marianne's voice come out of the tv speaker the hair on the back of my neck stands on end. But anyhow, Here are my suggestions: Exorcist, Excorcist III...

I am back. Greetings to my friends. :)

You may well be right Serpenteye. That was just an off the cufflist of things I might do to rebalence the playing field a bit. I'm sure Edena has his own plan should he decide to pick up where he left off.

I am back. Greetings to my friends. :)

posted by Edena of Neith: Welcome back Edena. I can relate to this as I just went through a systems crash of my own. Seems to be a lot of it going arround as of late. Yes, the Pressence of the Red Death (And of the dommination books) make the victory of good (and neutrals) almost...

    D20 Shadowrun

Here is a mostly complete D20 conversion of Shadowrun. It's built on the Basic D20 model rather than the D20 Modern model though. Also, George Chatzipetros, recently released a new Version of his D20 Cyberware rules for D20 modern. They have been fairly well received by the folks over at the...

    Many-As-One

Hmmm, I kinda like the way that sounds. A singlr Cranium Rat who can channel the power of the collective. Perhaps make it so that if it is killed, another Cranium Rat manifests as the "Alpha" I also heard that theCranium Rats were covered in the Feind Folio, but I haven't even seen a copy yet...

    [FR] Distracting Waterdeep

-The Morueme Dragons, eh? Where are they located? I am going to have the hobgoblins (Generaly) not be in Charmigizon's service, so this may be a good explanation for that. Beyond alignment incapatibilities that is -The Arcane Brotherhood are waiting and seeing as far as getting directly...

    [FR] Distracting Waterdeep

Well originaly I was going to replace klauth with charmigizon, But I like this idea better. Perhaps having the battle happen "Off-camera" and the PC's hear bits and peices as they travel would be a good way to introduce the aspiring dragon god. It make scense that Klauth would challenge...

    4th IR: OOC Thread

A Poll William Ronald posted a Poll on my IR Fourm. So if you have an opinion about this stop over and vote. Otherwise WR is gonna feel really silly with only two votes on his poll. Note: This is an EZBoard, so expect a few Pop-ups (like one per page). A pop-up blocker of some sort helps. And...
