    OGC Wiki?

Consider me of the 'information for free' contingent. Personally, it's just some added rules to a game that is complete already. You're adding some new bits, but really...is 17 new magical pipe cleaners THAT innovative that we should be paying for it? Sure, if it's included in a book of 1000...

    OGC Wiki?

    1) Have good images of all your items to go with the description, those can't be copied. 2) Don't release such a book. If you're that worried about someone using your OGC in a legal manner, find better ways to release your content. 3) Put little bits of equipment in relevant books so that...

    OGC Wiki?

Personally, for a single item such as this, I'd probably not close any of it. It's too small of anything to really worry about really. Sure, there is fluff, but I wouldn't consider any of it enough to really consider closing, and I would probably have just removed all references to the Delphakae...

    OGC Wiki?

I didn't mean closing content that MUST be open, I meant decreasing the number of "must be open" items in a product....like cutting out most of the feats because they're open instead of having a ton of them in the book.

    OGC Wiki?

Phil, care to comment on your stance of lowering your open content percentages? I'd just like to know which of my above quotes is the stance of Ronin Arts on this. Will it be closing up flavor text and such, or cutting down on the amount of open crunch?

    OGC Wiki?

I always love to read this argument because it comes up so frequently and some people will always say the same things... "I'm being nice with my OGC, but if anyone ever decides to actually USE any of it, I'm going to cut down to the bare minimum, because god forbid my open content actually...

    Publishers that don't add indexes--RANT

I can't stand any book without some sort of page reference, and I can't figure out why PDF's don't have bookmarks. That drives me crazy. Sure, a 3 pager may not need one...but any book that contans sections of classes or feats should have at least a bookmark to the section. And if the classes...

    What's your morning ritual?

let's see... 1. jump out of bed at sound of alarm clock and reset the clock for 30 minutes later. 2. jump out of bed at soudn of alarm clock and turn it off before making neighbors angry. (I use that really annoying repetitive beep and full blast so I actually wake up, and I keep the alarm...

LPJ - Haven: City of Bronze

*rubs hands together* Exxxxxxxcellent.... I sure hope he does. I enjoyed his additions to Haven: CoV and would love to see his input on City of Bronze. I'm also a big BIG fan of his Blood and Vigilance book, which I've been planning on using for a pulp supers game...which now has a great...

LPJ - Haven: City of Bronze

Interesting. I listened to the podcast today just because it was mentioned, and it seems promising. I was worried about the neo-pulp thing, but if it's just removing racist tendencies from the genre, I'm fine with that. Of course, some stereotypes are almost needed...orientals are good at...

    Anyone tried Narrative Combat?

I've been looking at this myself, but still haven't mustered the guts to get it. Sure, it looks great from the standpoint you're taking...a party of 4 PCs vs a horde of enemies that take too long to roll up attacks and damage. How does this work in normal combat that isn't so overloaded...

Silver Spring, MD Group Looking for Players

I've met Queen and Universe and one of the other members of the group, and they are neato people. Unfortunately, real life got in the way of playing a few weeks and I never kept up with attempting to join up with them. Maybe someday I'll try and get in to play, because it sounds very cool and...

LPJ - Haven: City of Bronze

how bout we stop worrying about other publishers and their attitudes, and maybe (hopefully) Louis will come back and actually tell us MORE about the product. i'd hate to see this thread die or turn into some stupid argument and not actually get my question answered. Louis, could you please...

LPJ - Haven: City of Bronze

Don't get much cheaper than less than $2 a class. I still believe that it is way expensive to do things that way, but it's what people seem to prefer, so my soapbox rants won't do any good there. I did enjoy the products I got from you though Gareth. Flood the market...that one's interesting. I...

LPJ - Haven: City of Bronze

So I'm looking at RPGNow's new releases for puply goodness, and I see the pulp templates from LPJ Design. Not what I'm looking for, but an entry in the product blurb hit me... Haven: City of Bronze What the heck? I didn't see it in the LPJ product list, so I figured I would come here and ask...

New England Patriots - symbol on the field

Excellent. Thanks Captain Needles. I noticed while looking at the stadium website linked above that there was a picture on there somewhere of a very phallic looking statue out at the end of the stadium (that didn't look anything like the symbol on the field to me at least), but I never saw any...

New England Patriots - symbol on the field

OK, this has been bugging me and my friends for a few weeks now. What on earth is that symbol on the outside of the 50 yard line? We're stumped. It's long and silver and has some goofy yellow lines coming out of it, but none of us have a clue what it is. Anyone know??

    Best DC-area ski resort?

Definately check out Seven Springs, it's one of the best of PA and one of my favorites. If NY isn't too far for a weekend trip, I recommend checking out Greek Peak or Holiday Valley.
