I wouldn't dare :D But I tend to consider that some games have less variation from AD&D 1st edition than the current 3rd edition has, i.e. Paladium system: the robotech game has profieciency for pickpocket and open lock!, or some fantasy game that wished to patch AD&D. I seriously doubt that...
