    D&D 5E (2014) D&D 5e Berserk Reference...?

That anime...that ending...not knowing what was coming. Still burned in my memory.

    D&D 5E (2014) Porting Grim Dawn (CRPG) to D&D 5E

Check out https://grimcalc.com/ You'll see that every level you invest "mastery points" either directly in your mastery (basically class) to gain stats and open up new abilities or in abilities. Some abilities are chained so that, for example the base abilitiy is modified by changing the damage...

    D&D 5E (2014) Porting Grim Dawn (CRPG) to D&D 5E

Actually, are you familiar with 13th Age (kind of a mix between 3e and 4e...written by the people who wrote 3e and 4e)? I think the ay they handle talents and feats (you invest feats into your talents every level) could be very useful in this.

    D&D 5E (2014) Porting Grim Dawn (CRPG) to D&D 5E

Hmm, so a lot of abilities in Grim Dawn are essentially stances (some which are mutually exclusive). I am not sure how exactly to model that in 5e though 3.5e Book of 9 Swords has stances that could give you some ideas. Shaman totems can probably be modeled off of Cleric spells like Spirit...

Unearthed Arcana 5E Psionics Alert! The Mystic Is Back In Unearthed Arcana

And celerity...the extra attack in celerity is also a bonus action.

Unearthed Arcana 5E Psionics Alert! The Mystic Is Back In Unearthed Arcana

So how do you build an Immortal? The other sub-classes seem to lend themselves to a particular function/style (wu jen=elementalist, avatar=psychic warlord, nomad=psychic ranger, soul knife=melee dual wield) but I am not seeing what you are supposed to do with the immortal. There are tanky powers...

Unearthed Arcana 5E Psionics Alert! The Mystic Is Back In Unearthed Arcana

Way of 4 elements ki point conversion for spells is based on spellpoints, which have a correspondence with psi-points so yould do the conversion. And, yeah, this soul knife is missing "blade forms" which was one of the soul knife's original defining features.

Unearthed Arcana 5E Psionics Alert! The Mystic Is Back In Unearthed Arcana

Why are trying to shoe-horn all these different concepts (ardent/psychic warlord, wu jen, psion, soul knife/psychic rogue, teleporter-ranger, body-mod warrior) into one class? Dividing it up into full caster(psion, wu-jen) and warrior/half-caster (ardent, soul knife, body-mod) would make more...

Unearthed Arcana 5E Psionics Alert! The Mystic Is Back In Unearthed Arcana

I don't really understand what role it is supposed to fill. I suppose you could use disciplines/discipline foci to pump up your armor a bit and make some sort of "defender" with the right disciplines. But I think you could do that with the Avatar too.

Unearthed Arcana 5E Psionics Alert! The Mystic Is Back In Unearthed Arcana

I do not understand Psionic mastery...what does it mean that you "cannot use normal psi points on these?" Until you have used the special psi points? Or you set aside masteries for the day that can only be used with the special points? Or just in that one casting? Also the psi-limit never gets...

Did you notice that one of the orders is the Wu Jen? I thought that was odd too.

    D&D 5E (2014) 5E classes that discourage "dipping"

I think monk is a class that discourages dipping, not so much because the capstone is amazing, but because every level gives ki, you need ki to do all the cool stuff monks can do, and it remains relatively scarce (you never have a huge surplus of it).

    Looks like it's time for a Warlord Sub-Forum Again...somehow.

as it stands, isn't using battle master with the right maneuvers in that mix better than using purple dragon knight?

    D&D 5E (2014) Best in-combat healer

Goodberry aside, I am not sure how AoV is bad. At 8th level your typical fighter/paladin is going to have about 64 HP and your typical bard/cleric is going to be around 56 HP. As a bonus action you (with life cleric) can heal an average of 7+5=12 HP every round for 10 rounds. That is a...

Small races get compensation for disadvantage with heavy weapons?

I think halfling and gnome rangers riding pterandon animal companions and raining down death from above is the compensation. :)

    D&D 5E (2014) Fledgling DM seeking suggestions for Evil-aligned dead god/demigod

If playing 5e-era FR I believe Myrkul is already back/restored but not as powerful as he once was given that Kelemvor still rules the dead. But yeah, good choice.

    D&D 5E (2014) Best in-combat healer

Goodberry and aura of vitality...best way to get that is lore bard.

    D&D 5E (2014) Best in-combat healer

I think probably Life cleric 1/lore bard X with magic secrets: auro of vitality and goodberry.

    D&D 5E (2014) Updating Improved Familiar to 5e?

I think improved familiar = warlock pact of the chain in 5e. If you created such a feat you might look at that feature but you'd also want to be careful not to take away the thing that makes PoC warlock unique. So you'd probably want to weaken it relative to PoC and attach a much higher level...
