Yeah, I'm fairly sure he meant unconscious via the sleep spell. For my two cents, I think that sleep would've been much better as a utility power. It's similar in purpose to Expeditious Retreat, but it has more Wizard flavor (imo). I think 2 pages of "jeez man, that was uncool" is punishment...

That reminds me. I intend to use a videogame-inspired strategy to get my players invested in the pregens - I'm going to have them described as mercenaries, but the characters will name the mercenary band. Later when they make their own characters, I'm thinking I'll have them come from the same...

Some people have been asking for them, so here they are. These maps have generic blocks where actual features are, so they should be safe for players (the secret rooms are not represented on these). They are black and white, and also printer friendly.

I think the opposite; the new skill challenge seems pretty dumb to me. I like the Sir Keegan one. Then again, I'm biased.

This is correct. I agree that burst/sweep would be better than burst/blast, but it's not really feasible to try and houserule it.

I recommend houseruling it into a +2 bonus for just the elf. Using it RAW, it tends to be too small and fiddly.

Nobody else can try them normally, but if someone wanted to use a trip I'd make it happen. It just wouldn't be as effective as a Fighter's options. Edit: Way ninja'd.
