    I don't have my books handy, but unless the Wall specifically states it affects spells cast 'through' it, then no, it does nothing. This is a basic tenet of spell descriptions. If the spell doesn't say it does something, then it doesn't do it.

    What happen if a fire elemental fails to make the jump over a body of water?

    Lands in water, goes splash, and is stuck, unable to move. Interestingly, fire elementals are very light, so he'll float very close to the surface. At this point, the water will begin to heat up, so I'd suggest tossing in some vegetables, bullion cubes, and diced lamb.

    Why do YOU hate specialization?

    I think specialization is an excellent example of a very well balanced option for casters while still keeping full spellcasting progression, compared to the complaint levied against PrCs which grant benefits at no cost (O NO, FAMILIAR!).

    Unless your goal is a warrior. In which case improved HD and BAB are a boon, at the cost of skills. You're already getting sneak attack from the Daring Outlaw.

    How do your characters deal with potions?

    most people are loathe to use expendables if they don't have to, and this includes me. At higher levels if I have extra money AND a ready supply, then I'll start using them more freely. (Ditto for wands)

    Stack is the wrong word. Stack implies that they combine, such as two resist fire spells. But I would say that yes you can have both resist fire and resist acid or whatnot going at the same time.
