No grid would be difficult for me since I like having a grid (during combat). Less emphasis on combat would not bother me as much though.

I would certainly be sad...that's about the only way to put it. Yeah, D&D is just one game, but it is something I've been doing since I was 18 (I'm 48 right now). I would find something else to play, but I sure would miss the D&D brand being available.
