Request - Murloc (World of Warcraft)

The new Monster Guide does not have murloc stats unfortunately. Both the new Monster Guide and the old Manual of Monsters are pretty much 3.5 compatible. Only notes I'd say is that the new WoW RPG uses the stats Strength, Agility, Stamina, Intellect, Wisdom, and Charisma, though they're just...

    So, what did I miss?

Tome of Battle: Book of the Nine Swords: If you like inserting wuxia-styled combat into your D&D game. It's style is not for everyone. Tome of Magic: Pact, Shadow, and Truename: Adds three new magic systems to the game: pact binding, shadow magic, and truenaming. Balance is all over the place...

Being threatened by products you aren't interested in

The most common complaint about MoI was that people were having trouble trying to figure out to use it since it didn't stick very close to normal fantasy tropes (that and the flavor was abhorrent or something, I seem to recall lots of complaints about that too). Can't please everyone I s'pose.

    Factotum from Dungeonscape

I think it's a silly class and I question its inclusion in Dungeonscape. The idea of a true 'jack-of-all-trades' is interesting and a worthy goal, but I don't think that anyone has truly 'hit the mark' (so to speak) as of yet. The Savant in the DC comes pretty close but it's still not 'it (I'm...

Reports and News from D&D XP

That's really all I want. I never played 1e, but a lot of the little cool tidbits of flavor that are sprinkled throughout D&D came from Greyhawk and while it makes a great, open-ended sandbox setting, I always want just a little more info without having to track down out-of-print 1e and 2e...

Reports and News from D&D XP

But is that really helping getting new people into the setting? I'd think Greyhawk might do better if there was some actual support, unfortunately Greyhawk won't do very good without a lot of fans and it can't really get many more fans without support. A vicious circle it is.

    Fiendish Codex II Web Enhancement

Meh, Juiblex has a CR 19, but he's got two things going for him: 1) No one really wants to be King of the Oozes 2) His CR is actually pretty low for his relative power level ... for whatever reason.

    Slideshow from D&D XP

Looks like Drow of the Underdark is the next creature-focused book (my assumption based on the cover-style). I hope not. Those really belong in a different book... Looking forward to all of them! :)
