well, Have now put in about 10 hrs of play with tha vanu, got up to BR5, and have to say it's pretty tough. The weapons do seem weak, 'course, I could just be getting killed 'cause I'm no good;) The Vanu also seem to be VERY disorganized from what I've seen, at least on the server I've played on...

wow...go away for a little while and everyone jumps in. Thanks for that. I did get the game today and have only played around with a vanu in the trainer. I have been reading the PS boards and have seen MANY comments that Vanu is the weakest and TR the strongest. I just hate the role playing...

I have just about every book that's out for alternity, and have run DM campaigns, so I'll chime in on some of the books. The Final Church is great if you want a to have a group of demon worshiping nutcases in your game. LOTS of fluff stuff, and gives options for making the organization really...

Well...I would like something with the detail level of the map on Page 117 of the FRCS, but that shows all of Cormyr. The one I just mentioned cuts off the western 1/4...everything west of the stormhorns. It also doesn't name the road that cuts through the Stonelands. What I'm going to try to...

Thanks, I have Volo's guide, but it has really BAD and vauge maps. I was wondering if anyone knew of any more up to date maps. I have tried to Google it but get tons of sites about the novels and few about the game area, and none so far have had any good maps..... Blastin

I'm going to be running a game in Cormyr, specifically in the Stonelands, and I find I am in need of a map. The only one I can find that is anything close to up to date is the one in the FR campaign book, and it is limited as it really is aimed at the dales, and only catches Cormyr by accident...

speaking of the whole ending thing... Has anyone heard anything about the fate of the show? I know they were talking about trying to get another channel to pick it up, and the whole crusade to get Sci-Fi to keep it, but I haven't heard if anything ever came of any of that? Anyone know...

I have the set, and know one other person who has it as well and neither of us have that problem. All disks work as numbered, as both of us have watched the whole series. Sorry

heh...Glad to see that I'm not the only old guy here ;) First character was Darcon, human wizard made in 1980, AD&D. I played him up to about 14th level "fair" and then the guys I played with went on a munchkin frenzy and we ended up taking on gods and ended up at 100th level. heh...now that...
