Looks like they put out an update for SWADE!

I use Hyperborea and just downplay the Sci_Fi elements. Swords and Chaos looks good too! It uses the Castles and Crusades' SIEGE engine As for new ones, this one just got Kickstarted!

One of the reasons I like SW is just how chaotic it can be. That said, it should be chaotically "fast, furious, and fun" and never slow, sleepy, and boring! Next time a situation like that happens, don't hesitate to "fix" things in the moment to get the game back on track. Make those Bennies...

Maybe give Kill Team a look, especially if your FLGS runs regular games. Wife and I have been playing Warcry (Fantasy version) and loving it. Especially since we don't need to paint too much and it's much easier on the wallet!

I've learned to enjoy it by pretending it's either Bilbo's first draft that's full of exaggerations or a version of the Hobbit that takes place in the Warhammer universe. :LOL:

Rude, haha... That's true. I wasn't going for a "one to one" comparison, but rather it makes sense to me that a bunch of guys making games for other guys would draw attractive women since that's what guys naturally like. A better example: I wouldn't pick up a romance novel and think everyone...

Which games? And which ones have been your favorite?

My first thought is Savage Worlds + some supplements (Horror Companion, Ripper Resurrected, Monster Hunter International, etc.). I'm biased though since I'm not a huge fan of PbtA games. I just picked up City of Mist and began flipping though it. Seems like it could be good too if you don't...

First and foremost, it's the best way I've found to get my "always online" friends in the same room to talk face to face. Second, I love challenging my players and seeing the crazy ways they're able to overcome those challenges. Finally, I enjoy seeing the different RPG mechanics in action...
