    Mando season 3

The John Carter of Mars books had something similar I'm pretty sure, though they were biological. They were spider legged heads that moved themselves from headless body to headless body.

Avoiding Death Spirals WHILE making damage count

This is my answer as well. Like a few of the above posters I mostly GM Savage Worlds and much prefer its system of Shaken and Wounds, as do my players. The risk to their characters from combat means they play less murderously and what one player calls "more charactery" and the bennies and...

D&D General Best Adventure Path (spanning 10+ levels) of all time?

It probably doesn't fit all the criteria but if I were going to pick something like that for a new campaign I'd do Eyes of the Stone Thief. Unique premise and it can be engaged with almost constantly (or sparingly) pretty much all the way up from peasant to hero.

Paizo Announces New Irrevocable Open RPG License To Replace the OGL

It's in the Savage Universe Licensee Open House video on YouTube. https://www.youtube.com/live/8SO-uNxIRf4?feature=share Scroll ahead in the video to 1:08:38 or so. Also, a minute or two past that Shane says they aren't anticipating any trouble with Savage Pathfinder. Excellent video BTW...

Paizo Announces New Irrevocable Open RPG License To Replace the OGL

Pinnacle Inc., maker of Savage Worlds, just had a YouTube stream and one of the things they said was that they had signed on.

Critical Role Could Critical Role launch their own RPG?

Same, but I'm not a freelancer. The GM did good NPC's but he didn't know the system well at all. They were still making basic "what do I roll" kinds of mistakes in the last episode. I also felt that Undeadwood downplayed the system (SW) instead of promoting it. @overgeeked I probably saw...

Critical Role Could Critical Role launch their own RPG?

IIRC Undeadwood was very popular, there was even talk of a sequel, and that was Savage Worlds. They did a Savage Worlds charity stream too at some point. I'd love to see the CR crew do Deadlands or 50 Fathoms, or Deadlands Noir. Taliesin's Call of Cthulhu game was popular as well.

D&D General Are you jumping ship? What will you be switching to?

Savage Worlds for sure. I've always liked it better anyway, and it's a system essentially made to have content created for it.

I come to the front page and click on "Community".

The Book of Boba Fett (spoilers)

According to Decider: If that's true, we're actually seeing Luke here with no Mark Hamill involved at all, which is wild.

Critical Role Additional Voice Cast Revealed for Legend of Vox Machina

Sam Riegel worked on DuckTales with David Tennant, I'm sure that's where their conversation started. The first two episodes were always planned to be a pre-stream story with General Krieg. It was only when the Kickstarter exploded that they added the Briarwood episodes.

RuneQuest Starter Set: Played It Review of a Mythic World of Magic and Conflict

There's an online version of the included adventure that can be run, with character sheets and a die roller, in kind of a choose-your-own-adventure format. I played it yesterday and had fun with it. https://www.chaosium.com/rq-soloquest-the-battle-of-dangerford/

D&D 5E (2014) D&D on the cover of Sports Illustrated

Same. Most of my gaming group in the eighties were in one or more high school sports, almost all at a high level too. Soccer, football, baseball, track, golf, and basketball were all represented. Most of us were in also in band, though I don't think we had any choir members.

    D&D 5E (2014) Wrestlers Join the D&D Live Fray!

I think the Big Show plays in Joe Manganiello's home game. I know he was in the Jocks Machina one-shot a few years ago. Aabria is doing Critical Role, Dimension 20, and D&D Live. It's her year!

Critical Role Critical Role’s 7-hour Campaign Finale

I usually recommend people start C1 at episode 28. Sure they miss a little bit, but those first 27 episodes aren't going anywhere, and it's not like the plot can't be figured out. Plus things by that time have settled down tech-wise, and of course that's the first episode with the smaller...
