I never played Dark Future. WHFB (it's been a hot minute for me) used d6's, generally on a table to compare WS or BS to each other and S and T or other stats to determine if you hit and how much damage you did. Dark Future possibly could be the other one you were thinking of?

Personally, these moves are good things. I would be perfectly happy to have not gotten involved with 2024/25 D&D and stuck with simple 5e. However, things like the FR release and other things (like possible DS) have me still deeply involved and keeping up with the Kardashians.

It sounds like it will all be in one version this time though, so no need to go through a ton of different books for combat rules, adventure rules and basic classes, then a separate book for addiyional classes...etc.
