D&D General Art Thread! What does a D&D wizard look like?

Dragonlance fans will tell you that wizards should look like Raistlin. Give or take the hourglass eyes and gold skin.

    D&D 5E (2024) Here's The New 2024 Player's Handbook Wizard Art

That’s a Dragonlance White Robe wizard if I ever saw one.

D&D General How Would You Modernize Greyhawk's Other Iconic Characters?

As an example, Murlynd sounds like he would be a good paladin/artificer on the surface. However, there's a Gunslinger subclass for the fighter from Critical Role. So I would start with that. Also, Luke Gygax has converted his iconic character Melf into a bladesinger wizard.

D&D General How Would You Modernize Greyhawk's Other Iconic Characters?

We've seen updates to Mordenkainen, Bigby, and Tasha in D&D 5e, but what about some of those other old famous characters, most notably members of the Circle of Eight? How would you update some of those iconic characters to 5e? Would you have any race or class changes? Or would you replace some...

Starfinder How would Golarion's return affect Starfinder?

Just curious, if a GM was to have Golarion and its moon return, how do you think that would affect the Starfinder setting? This is with the caveat that Golarion would look like Pathfinder today. Thoughts? EDIT: Let’s assume for the sake of argument that Absalom Station’s orbit is adjusted so...

D&D General Small Print on Character Builder PDF Sheets

As I get older, my eyesight is not as it once was. I appreciate the character builder, but the PDF character sheet has everything in teeny tiny print. How do you deal with that? Copy and paste into a Word doc? Something else?

WotC Vecna Eve of Ruin: Everything You Need To Know

Depends on which Raistlin you get. Legends era Raistlin became a god, after all. Soth is there throughout his life and beyond.

Looking for Barrier Peaks Style Settings or Adventures

I am looking to find a campaign setting or adventure that is something akin to Expedition to the Barrier Peaks, where an alien ship crash-lands on a fantasy world. I'm hoping to find something that allows the players to not only explore the crash site, but to go out into the sci-fi world beyond...

The Rise And Fall Of Evil Genius Games

I wanted to say thanks to Morrus for a well-written and researched article. This was good journalism. I hope to see more articles like this in the future. I never really had a negative experience myself when dealing with EGG (as a semifinalist for their Everyday Arcana setting contest), but...

D&D General Thank you for 50 years of D&D, video from WotC

Thanks, D&D, for teaching me that I am creative. Thank you to all the writers, game designers, artists, etc. that have come before. Thank you for Dragonlance, a career in web design, and the chance to contribute in ways I never thought possible. Thank you, D&D, for all the friends I have made...

D&D General 50th Anniversary- Are You Not Entertained?

If there was any year to do a Greyhawk sourcebook, it would be this year. I can maybe see a portion of it covered in the Vecna book, but not enough to cover the setting as a whole. Likewise, we haven't seen a full Realms sourcebook in quite some time. The new DMG is supposed to have a...

    D&D 5E (2014) Adventures in Rokugan Arrives August 5th

I had one time right here on EN World where I mentioned "taint" and someone responded much the same. This individual had never heard of the phrase used in any other way.

Now that Steamboat Willie is available in the public domain, it was only a matter of time before people started using it. Imagine my surprise when I saw it on DMs Guild! What do you all think about the author's take on this classic cartoon? Link: Steamboat Willie
